As I look at escort ads, I notice now that most escorts under 30 years old have tattoos. And not just a single tat, but several all over - arms, legs, calves and chests. This trend has been around for several years and seems to be getting more common.

Does anyone here think that the tattoos make a guy look better? I don't. My opinion is that they cover and distract from a beautiful body - especially if they are large - like ones that cover an entire pectoral muscle - or an entire arm sleeve. But I'm betting that I'm in the minority.

As the tattoo trend seems to grow, it makes me think of the saying: "Nothing expresses your individuality like doing exactly what everyone else is doing."

Oh I am with you. Tattoos are so unsightly and distracting to a man's beauty. Add bizarre hairstyles (hair longer than shoulder length / man buns / fin-shaped dos with sides shaved off) and horrid facial hair (the ones that make one look homeless especially) to the list. Why do beautiful men choose to "lessen" their beauty this way?

I love 'em. I have quite a few tats myself. Surprisingly, I don't particularly look for guys with tats, but I think nice tats can really enhance a man's appearance. I have never had anybody kick me out when I take my shirt off and they see my tats. They usually say, "Beautiful tats," or something similar.

I don't love them, nor do I hate them. I'm mostly indifferent towards tats. If a guy has a lot of tats amazing or awful looking, if I find him attractive... I'll see him.

The only time tats really really turn off are when people tat up their face's as well... with the exception of Sean Duran. :)

What is the tattoo on Mr. Duran's face - pliers, lobster crackers? Perhaps I'll meet him someday for an up-close and personal inspection.

I think it's an antelope or something similar. I think he has a love for exotic animals.

I think some tattoos are flattering. I don't let any tattoo stop me from meeting a nice talented man.

Same here. There are well-executed tattoos and there are poorly-executed tattoos. Some of them blot out a muscle and some of them accentuate it.

I know he is going to come off as too effeminate to some of you but I think Kyle Krieger has beautiful ink.

Love tats, except on the face. If I had to choose, which is never, lol, I would probably choose the tats. Piercings on the other hand, are a turnoff if they are the ones that expand the ear lobe or on their cock, tongue, or lips.

That's one of the marks of a good tattoo artist - he/she can use a tattoo design to accentuate a person's natural lines.

In general, I prefer my partner to be sans ink, IRL or when hiring.

I will say this, though, if I see a ripped and inked dude, I go rawr.

Exhibit A - Kyle Krieger above. (Disclaimer, didn't know who he was until @MikeyGMin posted the video.)

Ah, yes, an animal's head. Not unlike a fetal ultrasound, once someone points out what one is looking at, it's easy to see.

I can see beauty despite a tattoo but I always wonder why would someone do this to his body...
