Lots of eye candy this season, eh? While not much in the personality department, the sheer spectacle of some of these dudes is proving quite the diversion.

And I must say, tonight confirmed that personal trainer Mark is my perfect dream lunk.

That face.

That chest.

Those thighs.

Good golly.

I LOVE this show. I've watched almost every episode beginning with Season 2.

It's my equivalent of mental slumming. I usually hate all reality TV. No Real Housewives for me, never seen Survivor, wont even say the K word associated with a certain family. But I am fascinated by Big Brother.

I would love to a be a fly on the wall of the room where they screen potential house guests, and decide who they're letting in the house. You KNOW they're choosing to create a mix of emotionally unstable people. I'm surprised its not more dangerous --- I remember the very early season where one house guest threatened another with a knife. Tonight, someone abandoned the house because of nutso behavior. One of them is already melting down and demonstrating paranoia. Psych students should be assigned to watch the show and write papers on the behavior.

It's sanctioned emotional torture. I'll bet the casting directors and producer were kids that liked to tear the legs off insects and watch them squirm.

The eye candy is a treat as well.

Mark, Mr. Biceps, pictured above is great.....

but the lean marine Cody, in his low slung green sweat pants.... If he escorts, I'll hire him!

And the guy dubbed Silver Fox was a physique contest winner in the past (pre-ink)

Big Brother is my salacious obsession every summer.

It's ironic though, the gay guy, Ramses, is a cute little twink among those three hunks. He looked overwhelmed when personal trainer Mark (above) gave him a welcome hug during the first show!

Mine too, (I actually keep up with the live feeds!!!) along with So You Think You Can Dance! Cody, as head of household, has his own room this week and has an ongoing "showmance" with Jessica, who has been sharing his bed since he moved into the HOH room. Around 3:15 am Sunday morning it was noted that there was enough active repetitive movement under the covers that the feeds cut away.

It appears Cody was the first guy who got some in the house this season!;);)

I would prescribe this show as therapeutic for anyone feeling sorry for themself.

Think theres BS and intrigue at work? Friends and relatives are crazy?

Tune into CBS. Theres no better evidence of lunacy and demented behavior than BB.

The BB House might be the only place in America where insanity, exploitation, and illogical acts are more prevalent than Capitol Hill and/or The White House.

That said, if those idiots have a brain in their heads they'll vote Paul out the first chance they get but it looks like the deck is stacked

for him to have a good shot. Friendship bracelets = how to build an alliance without even trying and now safety for 3 weeks. Hope Cody tries to backdoor

him, the "temptation" is revealed and Cody is the replacement nominee if he was the #2 bottle. This season is stacked with potential drama.

Right now, though, Ramses got the bad "consequence" of being required to place himself on the block either this week, or in the next two weeks coming up because Paul took the "temptation" of three weeks of safety from eviction and picked Ramses "poison" bottle! Although Cody is the only one actually "getting some" he will also have the biggest target on his back after Thursday because he cannot play for HOH this coming week and there is lots of Cody hate in the house. His only chance for safety is if his main squeeze Jessica somehow wins HOH.

Agreed. Use spoiler alert if you're sharing stuff from LateNight or Live Feeds.

Will do so from now on. I had forgotten myself that this fact was not on the Sunday show. Mea culpa! Forgive me guys. :(:(:(

I'm not at all embarrassed to say that the show has been a guilty pleasure since the first season! My wife watched it with me twice and that was enough for her. I haven't always watched the live feeds. But sometimes.

Cody is physically most attractive to me, but Mark's personality is more appealing.

When Mark is in a clench with or just in bed talking to his main squeeze, Elena, his puppy dog facial expression, knowing smile and just the look of lust in his gaze makes me want him so bad I can taste it. He is just so adorable! Of course I realize he's straight but the fantasy is wonderful anyway!!! A four way with Mark, Cody and Matt would probably burn me out for a few months, especially as I fantasize it!!! :D:D:D

Mark is too bulky for my taste, but Cody is really growing on me. I thought he was hot from day one because of him being tall and lean and shredded, but his personality was initially a turn off. Now, I actually think it's sexy. He is quiet and determined and in control. Such a man!!!!

  • 3 weeks later...
So tonight at 8 EDT is "The Battle Back," When the first four evictees compete to return. The drama will be best if Cody gets back in, but I confess I'm rooting for Cameron, the poor guy who got voted out the first day!

I am rooting for Cameron too. Cody preferred for eye candy.

To me, it feels as if this season, the casting directors really pumped up the search for unstable people. I wonder if those houseguests recognize that being selected is equivalent to being marked as having mental health problems.

That Josh guy.... if I were a houseguest, I think I'd respond to every comment and action with "seek therapy!"

My prediction: any suspense is gone from the season. Christmas will win based on sympathy.

Nah. There is no sympathy in Big Brother and the jury is always swayed by winning competitions. I think Paul and Alex are clearly the best players, but it's still way too early to call.

I am rooting for Cody this evening. There is something I find very appealing about him beyond the obvious sex appeal. They are portraying him as completely stoic, but he's not that bad if you watch some the After Dark footage. He still has a terrible social game, but I thought it was kind of endearing how he blew up his game out of respect for Alex.

Well...the battle back has now happened (on tonight's special show!) and we have Cody back in the house. Cameron really tried his best but Cody, with his ability to adjust quickly and completely focus on task made both poor Cameron and Paul no real competition for the marine. It was quite funny how his girl Jessica advised him not to do anything crazy until she brought him up to speed about what has happened over the month since he was evicted. Cody told Julie Chen on Thursday night's show that if he did make it back into the house, he would pay attention to Jessica's advice, especially for his social game.

With America voting to give Jessica the "Halting Hex" temptation (shown on Thursday's show) which gives her the ability to stop both evictions in one of the coming three weeks, before the vote takes place, thus creating a non-eviction week, she and Cody just might have a fighting chance now, especially if Cody truly realizes how terrible his social game was at the beginning. I just hope Cody listens to her as he claimed he would so we not only get to stare at the male beauty of the man for a while, but get to see Paul and Alex scramble to try to keep on top now that this monkey wrench has made them realize that they may not be able to continue running the game all the way to the end as they planned with their secret alliance!

Now that Cody is back, I think the game may just go from the somewhat <yawn> boring 'Paul and Alex show' to something a lot more exciting. I'm looking forward to how this will all play out, especially since everyone (except Jessica) was praying for Paul to defeat Cody tonight and send him home once and for all. I can hardly wait! :D

None of the above comments are spoilers and, additionally, are only the personal opinion of TruHart1!

I stopped watching this train wreck when I realized CBS is only comfy when their gay contestants are a loud, flamboyant construct that meets America's tired stereotype, the obnoxious screaming sissy.

I can see your point at times in the casting. Yet the acceptance of the gay guys, be they fem or not, gives me hope for how the younger generations are now so comfortable that it hardly matters to most of the other houseguests at all anymore. @OCClient there have been a few notable exceptions to your stereotypical type of gay on Big Brother, though.

Drew Daniel, the winner of season 5, who showmanced Diane for much of his game and then chose 'Cowboy' over her in the final three, came out of the closet a few years after his season:

http://photos1.blogger.com/img/90/1350/640/Drew10.jpg

'Crazy' James Zinkand from season 9, admitted freely that he was bisexual and gay videos of him were found on the porn site Dirty Boy Video.com, which he seemed to not be ashamed of:

crazy-james-big-brother-house.jpg

http://bilerico.lgbtqnation.com/2008/02/BB9James.jpg

He loved to streak and run around the house nude, shocking some of the other houseguests during his season, obviously a true exhibitionist!

and Steven Daigle, a gay rodeo cowboy who only lasted two weeks in season 10, but launched a gay porn career because of his Big Brother exposure which was backed by Chi Chi LaRue and was quite successful until he got dragged down by drugs much later: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ShTElXkby2w/S_7KFvjj4BI/AAAAAAAADcw/1EaOeFk246A/s1600/Steven+Daigle+004.jpg

While I still watch BB, I agree about casting directors and their selections. I dont watch much other reality TV. I watch Amazing Race, and they too seem to cast gay men that behave according to some gay stereotype. I only watched 20 minutes of Fire Island, but that casting was outrageous and irritating.

Its less apparent in other segments of the reality industry. For example, Top Chef. Or House Hunters has shown a broad range of gay people, enough so that old stereotypes arent reinforced.

Perhaps theres something about reality show that are based on interpersonal activity. Its as if they're cast so that viewers can slot people into roles... dumb-jock, dumb-blonde, bitchy, fay gay, nerd, wholesome hefty girl, tattooed freak, etc.

Can't they just find one blond dumb jock who is a fey bitchy gay tattooed freak and call it a day and then use more authentic contestants? Oh you forgot to add racial distribution and devout religious person to the mix for contestants. I am waiting for them to make fat, bald old man a required group before I apply.
