Back in the '90s, I met Adam West at one of those B-celebrity conventions. I also met Tracy Lords (notorious for being an underage porn star) and Pamela Sue Martin (the original "Fallon" on Dynasty). Anyway, Mr. West was arguing with somebody, maybe his manager, so he probably wasn't very happy to be there. But he'll always be Batman to me.

Weekend All Things Considered played an interview clip in which he sounded anything but wooden. When asked about being typecast he said something like "how many people can say they created a persona?" Holy pearly gates, Batman! RIP.
