I think there are many reasons "reasonably fit and attractive individuals" would hire companions. It seems like you're positing the only folks who do are overweight or unattractive.

I realize Im walking a fine line here.... an escort is making his sevices available for sale. Ive always been super respectful with escorts. Never treated them as meat. For longer sessions, I try to learn more about them, listen to interests, etc. Ive had guys call me for advice or just because they needed an ear.

What you say is true -- however:) To me it is all ENERGY and if the Companion's energy is off, the session will not be first rate. While an escort is offering his services for sale, he is also offering his body and I do not look at him as a piece of meat that I buy and use.

 

I want a connection that goes beyond staged sex. I want to relate as new acquaintances who know each other a little when the door opens and get to know each other better during the first, and possibly future sessions.

 

Not every person (escort) or penis responds in every situation. While the men who have a chance to be with me are very fortunate, as I am to be with them -- I want to screen, out ahead of time, the situations that might not be good.

I suspect a fair number of clients have issues with their bodies and can't imagine anyone being able to get sexually aroused by them. That is one reasons I suspect clients go to escorts. Being overweight is generally "fixable". In most cases (note that I said most), the fix is simple math. Calories burned > Calories absorbed. ie.. run (or walk) around the block one more time and eat smarter.

I love muscular, hairy, esp. with shaved heads, toned with not so much hair, TALLLLLLLL, or not so tall; occasionally a yen for an otter. Well, actually, just about everybody but obese.

I don't disagree with you. I spent a decade as a very large man and I know what it's like. The reason I started seeing escorts was the dating pool was nonexistent. Even with escorts, I would see the look in their eye.

 

However, we do have to recognize the difference between selecting a sex partner and actually judging them as a person. Even when I was at my most obese and in no position to judge anyone, I did not select overweight escorts. Now, on the other side of middle age, I rarely select an escort over 40. I'm not judging men my own age, I just don't have much interest in having sex with them.

 

And I don't mean this as a jab but look at your own avatar. You didn't choose a chunky boy. I'm not saying you should. Avatars are meaningless, but think about what was going through your head when you selected it? Just a thought.

I think a lot of the discrimination is based on a belief that obesity shows a character flaw. There is a commonly held belief that the sole cause of obesity is "calories in- calories out" and a lack of self control. In fact obesity occurs from a variety of factors such as genetics and psychosocial issues. Even people who have undergone bariatric surgery sometimes replace a food addiction with another addiction such as alcohol. The worst thing we can do when encountering an obese person is to show repulsion. It simply reinforces any psychological trigger that may be at the root of the situation. That being said, I don't feel we must compel escorts to take on clients of any age, weight, or style. I do think it important that we all treat each other with the utmost of respect.

Figured I'd add my two cents on this thread, just to relay a positive story. I'm a large mixed bottom bear, and throughout my life I've variously faced sexual and romantic rejections on the basis of both race and weight/size. I am curious about the age, physical profile, etc of the guys you hired with such excellent results.

 

I dont think any profiling is right, and yet it makes me wonder about more targeted hiring. Like everyone, I have a few "types" I won't hire, but I've had excellent experiences with younger and older, slender, bearish, average (what is average anymore?), and fitness-magazine shredded.
