I'll be driving Friday at noon from DTLA if anyone would like to hitch a ride.

Have room for two with bags, clean stream equipment, slings, etc

Ride only. Don't have spare accommodations

I'm a shy boy

Believe it or not, it's true, except when I am naked :p then I am anything but shy. But socially? Quiet guy.

Well, I guess to make sure your comfortable there will be only one thing to do. ;)

You know, I'm actually not surprised. No idea why, but I'm not.

Good instincts. You will see at the pool party. In conversations, I am the guy hiding in the corner. If I have something to say, I will just go on this forum, where I am comfortable, and post it. Haha!

I might take you up on your offer. When's the latest you need to know?

I know ALL of you guys will be having a fantastic time this weekend - be aware that this is STD Awareness month! many of which are on the rise.

So . . . be careful all of youse, don't do anything I wouldn't do, enjoy yourselves to the max - I already know a few of you will! And, @TopTierTop, don't be bashful - I don't think any of the guys will bite you, but you never can be sure!

Well I hope you are all ready for the annual Palm Springs Weekend adventure. Some of you are probably already on the road or in the air. I've finished all the prep work for the Sunday food and am relaxing before my drive to Palm Springs tomorrow morning.

Have a safe trip all and I am greatly looking forward to seeing my many old friends and my many new friends.

I'm also shy. Wish I could be there. Would enjoy hiding in the corner with you.

Anyone able to pick me up and give me a ride to the pool party tomorrow? Where I am staying is three miles from the location of the party and about two miles from downtown.

Sent you a PM

No reports? Everyone still in bed? HUNGover? ;)

Me, I'm relaxed as can be! Not hungover, and feeling grateful that I could make the party and had a good time.

Wayne (@Socalguy) and I got home a couple of hours ago. This was our fifth consecutive year in attendance, and I probably say this every year, but this one was the best yet! Which means 2018's should be even better, if that's possible.

We checked into Canyon Club on Thursday, and didn't see anyone from the forum there that day, although we did get to hang out with @Ace for karaoke at Spurline that night, which is always a lot of fun. That man can sing!!

On Friday, forum members started to arrive at the resort, and we got to reconnect with several people we'd had the pleasure of meeting at previous events, and made some new friends as well. A few of us went to dinner at John's Restaurant next door, where @Dave regaled us with stories about Bali. It sounds like a fascinating place! Wayne and I may need to go, and check out a certain clothing optional resort I hear is opening there. ;)

We were already having a fantastic time, and the official events hadn't even started yet! Our decision to stay for four nights this year was a good one, and we'll definitely do it again next year. (4th night free at Canyon Club, lol) The dinner at Trio was incredible, as always. Lots of wonderful conversation, a couple of very sexy waiters, and so much delicious food! I recommend their mushroom enchiladas. :) After dinner, several of us returned to Canyon Club. Modesty forbids me from describing the events that transpired there, but let's just say it was certainly an evening I'll not soon forget.

Sunday, of course, was the legendary pool party at @Oliver's. More wonderful conversation and more delicious food. (Thank you, @Epigonos!) Buffet style, so no sexy waiters this time, although there was certainly plenty of eye candy, and some unexpected, but highly arousing entertainment. And yes, I was the first one naked again. But certainly not the last.

Wayne and I didn't attend the dinner at Blue Coyote that night, but I hear it was quite enjoyable. Some of us gathered at Spurline for karaoke, which included a surprise appearance by none other than Darren Criss! He and a group of people arrived from Coachella, and he and his girlfriend Mia treated us to a phenomenal performance of "Total Eclipse of the Heart".

This morning, we had the unfortunate, but inevitable task of packing up and heading home. As always, we're already looking forward to next year. We'll have our room booked as soon as we get the dates! Many, many thanks to all who attended, and to those of you who haven't attended, but are thinking about it, DO IT! :) You won't be disappointed.

I agree with Rob, this is the second time I've gone and had a fun time. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, the food is fantastic and the ambiance is wonderful.

This is the third time I learn about this tradition, and every year seems to be fantastic. You all are making really hard not to plan for next year, even for a shy lady like myself.

As one shy lady to another...

GO next year! It was a great time.
