Last week there was a dog attack on a man walking two therapy alpacas on a Canberra bike path, resulting in one of the animals being euthanised. This week there has been a happy sequel to the incident. The dog and its owner have not yet been identified.

As opposed to capital punishment as I am, the vision of that dog's owner being euthanised is disturbingly appealing to me.

Some people are awful. A long time ago, a dog owner let his unleashed boxer go after one of my cats. The cat bloodied the dog's nose and scooted up a tree. I only wished it had been the smaller alpha cat he tried going after. He would have had his nose shredded and been scared off by the shrieking. I once watched her run another cat off the property. She was very territorial.
