Where do you look for escorts?

I just wanted to see what some of the most popular places to look for escorts are for people these days. I mostly use rentmen now but I am curious as to whether I am missing out on other sites. Your input is appreciated, below is a brief summary on how I use and have used these sites in the past.

 

Rentmen: Like I said my most used and current favorite, especially since rentboy was taken down

Men4rentnow: Its like my first love, I hired my first escort through that site 6 years ago. While its clearly gone downhill since then I still check the site semi frequently.

Hourboy: Hardly look at it, the site in my opinion has potential but ive never actually hired through it. I find many of their ads to be outdated.

backpage: check frequently but have never hired through it since the men who advertise there are hard to trust.

 

What sites do you guys use? Are there any suggestions for new sites? I know there are some sites that cater more easily to certain areas so if it helps, I am located in the San Francisco area.

 

Also are there any other ways you find escorts? bars, clubs? Should I bother and how would I go about finding escorts through apps like Grindr and Adam4adam? Are there other apps I could be using?

I am committed to have my first backpage experience this year. During the break I have been contacting some of the guys there with no luck, but they didn't strike me as less trustful than a4a or rentman. Many of the guys I contacted rejected my offer because I was looking for a bottom and they were tops. That's a sign of honesty.

I second Adam Smith's comment...In FTL there are a plethora of men on BP that have proven to be reliable and honest. As with any format, it does take a certain finesse to navigate.

 

I hire mostly out of the strip clubs. I like taking things for a test drive before I commit...Your mileage may vary. :D

I have my best luck with Adam4Adam. rentmen.com ( or now rent.men) is a problem only in PRICE. Everyone seems to think they are worthy of porn star prices and too many ask for $ 300./hr. and more... which is just ridiculous. Most of the massage sites, masseurfinder.com massagem4m.com are usable as sources but they do not allow "escort" listings, so you have to read between the lines and follow up with an inquiry. backpage requires a LOT of digging through fake pictures and total scams for my liking. Although I have met one or two people, who were great...I've had ten times more failures on there.

Well since I'm heading to a Chinese restaurant tonight it reminds me that when reading your fortune always append the three words "between the sheets" at the end... works every time. ;)

 

In any event, I'm a Rentmen person given the demise of Rentboy as it seems to offer the best quality. I could never and still can't make sense out of Men4RentNow. Not comfortable using the lesser alternatives, but given the esteemed Mr. Smith's success with Backpage I may look into that for what it is worth.

Well. If you have the time (I wish I had more) and you enjoy the hunt (I do), the "lesser alternatives" can be very rewarding. With the due research, you can find very hot guys, with no pretensions, guys very eager to please, at prices that are half of Rentmen's. Besides those four win-win no brainers, they are often very young, inexperienced, and eager to learn. If you enjoy these three features, well, the lesser alternatives are a must.

I've had many a massage turn into basically an escort experience, so yes.

 

Is that on your instigation or his? Is it generally started by touch or do you verbally ask to do a particular thing that branches out to a full blown escort experience?

Well massage is not my thing either. However, years ago I was having an issue and a massage was recommended. I had heard from a friend that from a therputic point of view that Jake Deckard was quite skilled in that regard. So I figured why not see if he could solve my problem and get a happy ending out of the deal was well. Well I got both as he told me more about how to remedy my problem that a whole host of healthcare professionals. He did make the experience very sensual and whispered things in my ears that implied that he might cross the line... but it was all talk and no action. Indeed he had said that nothing was going to happen at the outset... He allowed some minimal touching, but when I attempted to reach for one private part he firmly removed my hand without saying a word. As such I figured that was how most massage guys operated. Other than seeing him a couple if more times I never have hired anyone else for simply a massage.

 

The only other exception was I hired a guy who advertised both massage and escort service. I did an hour of massage to see how we would get along followed by a hour of play as I was not sure how much he was into S&M and I didn't want to waste any cash if he was not going to get into it for the whole two hours, yet I wanted to be entertained for more than a mere hour. It all worked out.

 

Incidentally I checked out backpage locally and there was nothing promising... :(

This seems to be its limitation: Its usefulness and public acceptance/recognition as a source of quality escorts varies wildly from one city to the next.

I searched the whole gamut... M, F, vanilla, BDSM, etc. The guys who were listed were looking to play with women and/or couples. The BDSM category was exclusively of the dominatrix persuasion. While there is a paucity or escorts listed in the general region on the mainstream sites, it now further explains why one escort says he always does quite well when he visits the area. In fact he prefers this area as opposed to other regions of the state where the competition is much greater. It makes sense as if you are going to go through the expense of traveling to the area why not go where you have reliable regular clients who are in despair, despondent, disheartened, and desperate for some action! But heck the climate is perfect. I guess you can't have everything...

Wow, hard to imagine that happening with YOU decked out on a massage table, but thanks for sharing that it happens to the hottest among us! :)

 

Many guys seem to triangulate, so they run ads on a masseur site and an escort site at different and sometimes the same times. This is the scenic route to contacting someone as it takes a long time, but if you have been following the different ads of a guy like this you will quickly figure out if he massages, escorts, both, and what the rate is for each.

 

I do it this way: If someone offers "erotic" or "nude" massage....I simply ask if they escort too. It's not an unreasonable question. If they get offended that's on them. No damage done.

 

Agreed, this is true most of the time, and even the guys who seem to get the vapors at the word "escort" often go well beyond a massage in what they will actually do.
