My god....WHAT....AN....ASS!

Take that as you will...grin

Before I get attacked...I really am talking about his ass.

He was an interesting escort and I had some really fun

times with him. I will say he's the first escort I ever hired

where I felt the escort was going out of his way to

"take care" of me. I took my first (of many) gay cruises

because he suggested it. I also got to watch him on the

StairMaster once on a gay cruise....it was truly a thing of beauty.

Some guys prefer to just ride off into the sunset. Others go on farewell tours that rival Cher for duration. There are several guys who've just quietly retired. In some cases they see select clients for old times sake or quit entirely. A couple have been "Pretty Woman'd." That's falling in love with a client and beginning a new life. Still others are not sure if circumstances may change and the might have to resume their escort careers. We all know of cases where a guy makes a public announcement of retirement and then comes back a couple years later. In these instances there's always someone who says "I knew he'd be back".

Steven may have decided that to quietly fade away was best for him. He can sit back and devour all the Belgian chocolates he wants without worry.

I met a few who retired a couple of times too....

Doing the StairMaster will give you a nice toned ass btw. Good cardio exercise as well.

My first days were his last ones here. I did have the chance to interact a little bit with him, and I al ways enjoyed his intelligence and sophistication. He was very supportive when I was taking my first steps in the forum. I never experienced his annoying side.

I know him well. The tax authorities both in Belgium and in the US did finally catch up with him. He is spending some time 'taking care of business' as a result of that.

My advice to other escorts is - get a good accountant.

That's very interesting. I know someone that was contacted by the IRS after the RB raid. The reason he knew it was through RB was because the IRS used his Escort name. Anyone that uses their CC makes it easy to track who's who or your real name.

I wonder though what made the IRS go after him as opposed to everyone else or maybe like you say it's a taste of what's to come for everyone involved.

I know from personal experience that you don't want to get in their cross hairs. They have a very long memory.

Nice to see him remembered here. He was one of my favorites - so intelligent, urbane, masculine in an unaffected way. To spend time with him was to fall in love a little bit.

Tax issues? Baron, what did you mean by "taking care of business?"

Never cared for him. Always looking for a fight. I once asked him how he had any clients behaving as he did.

Many people to varying degrees are not well-suited to social media. While there may be some overlap between an escort's social media behavior and his interactions with clients as a provider it's possible that the overlap is slight or inconsequential. It's possible to be an excellent escort and a train wreck on social media. It's also reasonable to assume that this forum represents a tiny fraction of escorts' clientele and has little to no influence on an escort's reputation.

Always looking for a fight, eh??

Just to be clear....Draker had his fans, and that is fine, but as Charlie mentioned he could be a snake, and those at the receiving end of his vitriolic behavior do not have such fond memories of him. SO yes, for many posters, he was always looking for a fight. Remember the man anyway you wish, but don't assume we all share in that sentiment, or laud his behavior. LookingAround has as much a right to his opinion as anyone, as do I.

My advice is to remember that even though it's a cash business, net income is taxable and what qualifies as net income may be more expansive than you think. Keep good records and don't think the use of cash insulates you. There are other ways of proving income.

I found Mr. Draker to be an excellent escort. I first met him when he visited my city. At that time, he was a poster on the forum who always succinctly expressed his opinions with a very positive attitude. He was a font of knowledge about so many subjects. When I first saw his ads on Rentboy, M4RN and his website, I thought he'd had his ass photoshopped to look more impressive. I was wrong. After that first meeting with him, I came to the conclusion that his ass was, in fact, the 8th wonder of the world!

In a later session he gave me permission to photograph him, so I have my own pictures to prove that all of his equipment, including his amazing butt, is quite impressive! I, too, would hire him again "in a New York minute" if he ever came through my area again. As far as his aging, to me he's always had quite the boyish face, with a bit of a naughty expression on his sensuous lips, (he's a fantastic deep kisser!) promising great times in bed, which he never failed to deliver every time I hired him. Certainly, for all his perceived human faults by some forum members, I have only best wishes for his future, whether inside the business or in any other endeavor he elects to pursue.

He may have been a wonderful person when he was being paid to be, but woe is the poster who disagreed with him in the forum. First, he’d scream “Troll”. Then he’d send unsolicited, nasty PM's to the poster. This wasn’t a once or twice occurrence, but more a routine and predictable MO for Mr Draker. Many forum members were the target of this bizarre behavior.

I think some of us overstimate up to what extent social media fosters and environment that actually reflects reality. If you meet me in person, you will probably think I am an impostor. That is not because I am dishonest or schizophrenic, but because interaction dynamics are different. I am shy, I never feel fully relaxed in social situations, my speaking and listening skills in English are even worse than my reading/writing ones (yeah, believe it!). These circumstances strongly determine the way I can show who I am.

I may be wrong, but it is reasonable to assume that most of us do not have a personal, beyond superficial knowledge of Mr. Draker. Is he a good or a bad person? I do not know, but I wish he is a cool and happy guy. I can tell about my interaction with him here. Although brief, it was fruitful and enjoyable for me. When I was a newbie and got in some unpleasant conflicts, he went out of his way to coach and support me. Without me asking for anything, he reached out through PM to support and cheer me up. I miss him. I am sorry that not everyone had the same experience.

I'm sorry, gratuitous, out-of-the-blue nastiness, of which Mr. Draker was often guilty in the time I've been here, is never called for. Nor is deliberately baiting people in order to provoke them into ToS violations and timeouts. Neither has anything to do with social media awkwardness.

For me, he was a nice guy and great escort. His posts were controversial at times, but I did not take them with the degree of seriousness which others did. I do think he played out some personal animosities on the board, but in the final analysis, for all of us the board persona and the real world persona are never quite identical. One can certainly hope that certain clownish behavior on the forum is not meet by similar buffoonery in the real world.

Mr. Draker was one of my first hires about 10 years ago when I was young (early 20s), not out, and sexually inexperienced. He was great at putting me at ease and showing me a great time. He's actually the one who introduced me to this forum from which I lurked for a long time before joining last year. Was quite shocked when I read some of his posts because it seemed so different than the person I met. All the best to him.

Count me as one of those. But as contentious as it was, it kept everyone on their toes, and the forum was quite lively then.

Yes, it kept everyone on their toes because you never knew when things would turn nasty. He may not hold the record for most time outs but he must come close.

As an escort he was one of the best. (By most accounts.) But his presence here led to unnecessary drama that created a negative atmosphere. An atmosphere that drove clients and escorts to view participating on this forum with trepidation.

I never faced reactions like these, I exchanged posts with him in here, and we followed each other on Twitter. He was always thoughtful and courteous. I know my impressions are not shared universally, but I wish him well, but I'm putting off a trip to Belgium for the moment!
