I thought "Beautiful Thing" was a wonderful film for much the same reason stated, that it was a gay themed movie with a happy ending. I'm sure every word was easy for Mr. Tovey to understand but I had the darndest time with the actors' accents. Eventually my ear adjusted and when I bought the DVD, I made sure it had English subtitles! :)

Two scenes. The one where they were coming home from their first visit to a gay bar feeling joyful and free and made out in the park. And the last scene where they danced together. That last one was corny but oh so sweet.

 

I'm going to have to find someplace to stream that movie or break out the old DVD player! :)

Very odd and distasteful point of view. He looks good naked, but should keep his mouth shut when it comes to gender issues.

I didn't read a single quote there that indicated he actually understood why anyone was upset. What it seems he got out of it:

 

1. He's famous, so people listen to him. He has to be careful about what he says because of this.

2. His comments were "blown out of proportion" by social media. He thinks his comments were as innocuous as commenting on the color of clothing.

 

Maybe he expressed some sentiment that he doesn't disparage more effeminate men, but if he did it wasn't included in that article. I'm assuming, therefore, that he didn't say anything along those lines.

Oh I agree completely. Only thing is, to me the ears are cute on Rocky, but hot and sexy on Russell!!! :):);)

I see the resemblance, though Mr. Tovey has sexy ears that stick out more but no tats, and Kerry/Nicky has a much, MUCH more buff body! Both hot, sexy men, though. I certainly would not mind being sandwiched between them!!! :):);)

Same nose in this picture, family resemblance all over again!

 

They're equally adorable and is hard for a man to compete with a French bulldog!

I am not attracted to Rocky in the same way as to Mr. Tovey. Yes, Rocky is cute but I don't feel a desire for him to throw me on the ground and f**ck me until I'm screaming with pleasure as I do with Russell!!! :):);)
