Is this guy for real? He must have more money than all of the other members of Hooville put together. According to what he writes all he does is fly around the world and have sex with the best escorts available. Either that or he is just bragging and pushing BS.

>Is this guy for real?

Yes he is quite real and a very warm, fun, and generous guy. He is much smarter than he is rich, having figured out how to make decent money without being chained to anyone's desk -- his included. He is also smart enough to know that you only live once and figured out how to do it while having fun.

I think you will find that the really deep pockets tend to keep a low profile. At least that has been my observation.

:) Well, I do not mean to brag and if my posts come across that way, I do apologize. I do love telling stories. I am often full of BS and if you ever meet me in person, you will know I come from a family of southern fishermen (they always tell the best stories). I am far from being rich. I came to the conclusion about 2 years ago that I was not going to sit around in my NYC apartment the rest of my life. And, as I could live in hotels cheaper than I could in Manhattan, I took to the road. My work is able to be done each day by computer so it does not matter where I live.

I live life for today and do not save $$ or plan for the future. My life is spent everyday making sure I enjoy my time on earth. I guess the Thai mentality of living life only for today rings true in my mind and that is the way I live. I would bet that the person who started this post has more $$ in his bank than I do. (I am in Vegas now and I am a betting man) I live life like a gypsy and that is what I prefer to do.

While not rich in currency, as you can see from my friends on just this post, I am rich with friends who I love and adore. For anyone who cannot fathom why I live the way I do, fuck em. :) I go to bed each night happy and content and wake up looking for a new adventure.

As I said in a post yesterday about My Dream Fuck, "I am one of the luckiest bastards alive." I don't know how long the ride will last, but for now, I feel like I am in heaven.

WOW...Where did that come from.

I wish to add my voice to chorus confirming the realness of the OZ. I remember when we first met and how our Southern roots seemed to help create a kindship I still cherish. I won't say I am jealous but I do envy the life he is able to lead and most of all every valuable moment he can squeeze from that life. Life is way too short not to live it to it's fullness. Having been in NYC and Thailand I can see how Thailand is a much cheaper place to live if home can be anywhere you lay your head. I felt like a rich man in Thailand and I am far from it.

God Damn Oz I admire your your attitude and style. I just wish I had the ball to live the same way. Many of us, myself included, are way too tied to our material possessions and traditional middle class ideas of how life should be lived -- mostly bull shit of course. More glory to you; as somebody once said -- "yesterday is gone, tomorrow doen't exist, only today is real, grasp it and live it for all it is worth".

I would not be so hasty to put down this lifestyle. I believe many here missed an important part of Oz's post. That being his ability to continue to earn a solid income anywhere he can connect to the Internet. Without this he might not have been so keen on leaving his comfortable NYC apartment.

He is very lucky to not be financially whole yet continue to be able to enjoy life as he wishes.

I think it's going to be mountain time :*

I just wish he had won the word "Olympics". The people who own it in America are so ass headed about whom they won't let use it. Gay Games, of course. But didn't I just see not too long ago that the Special Olympics had to change their name, too? (Wish I was kidding.)

Who was it who said, "If there were no Totally Oz, we would have had to invent him."? Thanksfull, though I've never gotten to meet him, I'm glad we didn't have to invent him. He does such a good job of that for himself.

Hey Oz!

Gee, I don't know how to begin...

I just want to say that reading you post and thinking a bit about it, I have gained more insight and learned more about myself, than in my last ten day Vipassana retreat...

Life is just about the way one lives it. Not about theory, or justification or about "how things should be". I know very few people who have the guts to go for what they want, and you seem one of those. You remind me one of the most powerfull lesson that one great guru shared with me once. He said:

"In this endless cycle of Samsara, (experiencing incontrollable re-encarnation in this world) there is one way to attain samadhi (a state close to enlightment). That powerfull thechinque is this; You must remember one thing: Life is here, life is now. Life is soooo short... and sex is just too delicious!"

Man! When one is a guru, one knows how to say this shit!

You seem like a guy to emulate... Thanks

The last one was the best!

The post above by Juan V. was the best one to remember and live by.

Thanks for reminding me!

Ben,

I told you that the lube was for the goat at Zumanity. I deny any wrongdoing. I have never had full sexual relations with any cast member during the show performance. I deny offering the cute little Chineese guy a box of choclates. I deny having a plastic pussy in my face by any cast member. I do not recollect ever getting paid for any lube job in Vegas. I hope this settles the discussion. :)

Juan, thanks so much for the great post. I do appreciate it. Do you mind if I steal it and use as my tagline?
