Kudos to the Maine Lobster Industry. Now perhaps Congress can find the time to address the drinking water crisis plaguing Flint, Michigan.

Better to euthanize the lobster first...meat more tender that way vs the muscle meat tensing up when thrown live into water/steam. Just sayin'

. I read a recipe recently that said to do this. I never heard of it before. We have always sent live lobsters to their demise in the water or steam.

I like to turn the lobster over live on its back and pour some vodka in its mouth then put on a Monty Python video and let them laugh themselves to death!!!!!!!!

But seriously - A very old Seafood Purveyor told me yes - to turn them over and take large sharp knife and plunge it in

right below the lobsters head - then wait for it to go limp then steam/boil/bake/broil/grill ---

Same basic idea -- the relaxed muscle provides more tender and sweet meat - I do still give them a little vodka before I

impale them -- When your brain is the size of pea a little vodka will do ya just fine -- I guess that is why Donald Trump doesnt

drink! (BAH-- ZINNNGAAA!)
