Noticed that Boomer recently increased his rated from $350 to $400. This guy is HOT, HUGE & probably one of the biggest current adult film stars out there, but he doesn't seem to get many reviews compared to his NYC competition. Does anyone have any experience with Boomer??? I wonder if more NYers will be going up from $300 to $400 soon...

From my perspective, Boomer's rate includes what I like to refer to as a "celebrity dick surcharge." $250-300 seems to be the going rate for most established guys in NYC. Add to that a $100 celebrity dick surcharge and you get Boomer's rate. Whether consumers are willing to pay a surcharge to interact with a famous penis is completely up to them. Boomer has a lot of business sense, so I would imagine the rate he charges results in just about the number of customers he's looking for.

 

I have met Boomer. He's a quality guy in every respect. My personal opinion is that in his case the surcharge is justified and reasonable.

He wasn't a diva around me nor was he a diva when he met a couple of my close friends. I found him to be very sweet (which was not what I was expecting). Would I be able to tell that he was gay if he was talking on his phone behind me in the checkout line at the supermarket? Yes. Does he sound less masculine than one would expect compared to the scowling publicity shots he does for the studios he has worked for? Yes. But I wouldn't characterize him as being overly feminine. On a 1 to 10 scale, I'd give him a 5. Some may like that, some may not, some may not care. I fall into the latter group.

he gave up escorting a few times to come back again like so many others, I guess easy money is hard to give up.

 

I met him years ago in SF and we have been FB friends since then and he has not posted on there in about 2 years and there are constantly messages from friends asking if he is ok. This is not a professional FB page its his personal one. (only a hundred or so friends vs. the 1000 on his professional page)

It's all a matter of supply and demand. I've met Boomer briefly a couple times as we both live in NYC and he seemed very nice. I don't know him well enough personally but my sense is that he has great work ethic and is business savvy. I'm sure he has a few regulars that keep him busy. On top of that, I sense at his lower rate he had to turn a lot of clients away; if that was the case, he would be unwise not to increase his rate. He's probably just as busy as before but this time with a much more manageable queue of clients.

Jojo, when I read your post, it immediately brought to mind a very hot escort, porn star, quite well-reviewed man whom I saw in June. Prior to our meeting, I was psyched and anxious. But, when we met--that was completely opposite from what I'd envisioned. My time with him was one hell of a complete let down! My money was paid for "naught!"

 

I chose NOT to write a review because of his partner/lover, a man I yearn to see in future months. But, again, I truly concur: "Being a porn star does not equate in being a great escort!"

I paid $300 and it was worth it. He is hot with a huge tool. But he wasn't as macho as he appears in videos (afterall, he does Bottom as well) and he is a fashion designer. None of that mattered. Would I pay $400, probably not...

 

I'm going to have to call you out on this, JJK. Unfortunately to be totally truthful, I'm going to have to call myself out on this as well. This is a stereotype. I should know as I had a 'career' of hiring masculine bottom and versatile guys. But sometimes the stereotype still rears its ugly head in my brain too
