That trailer for the show looks embarrassing. I always thought one of the best things about being gay was not having to do all that silly "finding love" nonsense that straights engage in.

I hired him in FLL 10 years ago under his rentboy name of Vincent Romen. He claimed he was 24 then. Great body but total bust. Had to ask him to leave early. Wrote review on HooBoy which is no longer available.

Tallulah Bankhead once made remark of a play, "There is less here than meets the eye!". We did lunch in the company of his client with whom I had an acquaintance. By my observation, a he was textbook case of malignant narcissism; by my acquaintance, his client, a total "bust", too, in the hire, and, indeed, he paid him a premium over his fee "just to go away". Nonetheless, he was a very pretty piece of work in his physical appearance.

The title is Looking for Prince Charming. That is, Robert is the one looking for Prince Charming. It seems that whomever it is will need to have enough charm for the both of them. My guess, more guys get together in the house than get together with Robert. The concept is intrinsically flawed in that the contestants spend more time with each other than they do with the selector, so it seems much more likely that two of them will fall for each other than it would be that they fall for Robert.

I say, just have a huge orgy the first night and see who is left standing.

Is it me or doesn't Robert look like he needs a quite detailed bath and shower?..

Something tells me he spends hours and hours curating that look. Perhaps that's why his self-described "lifestyle brand" has not taken off.

Robber, was that when you were with him at the Triangle Inn in Palm Springs? I was wondering if he was with an escort client there.

According to one of his old AOL profiles:

"Not into men that SHAVE there BODY!!!!!! Hairy Men, Muscle, Uncut a +

Ripe, Smegma, Days worth....Come on down"

Yes, he has nasty preferences if you saw the xtube postings:

So much for Sepulveda's "The past is past" "When I was young" - nycjock-XL xtube points to tumblr solicitations in March/April:

I love this.."But the backlash has already begun to mount. “To call him ‘Prince Charming’ is a little reckless,” AIDS activist Tyler Curry told TheWrap, while cautioning against “shaming” people who become sex workers."

Call me dense but girl I think you just did. You're a dirty ho!! I don't want people thinking dirty ho's are bad people though.

He's not exactly a dazzling conversationalist anyway. To quote his ads on RentMen and xtube:"Muscle jock with a brain to match."

By the way I agree with Nvr's observation, The Wrap statement from Logo that they followed their normal vetting protocols and did not know about all his sex worker past is driven by legal positioning. They are trying to minimize legal claims from the contestants who may sue them, and from others who may claim economic, reputation, and emotional damage from this. The lawyers will be taking over, and the decisions about where this goes will likely not be driven by what's best for the gay community or gay related, sex worker shaming, or gay teen issues.

Curmudgeonly, I can't bring myself to *like* this statement, but I think it is accurate and thank eyesopen for making it.

Nothing not to be curmudgeonly on this story. I've heard from an industry reporter that Logo and/or Sepulveda's attorneys aren't letting him speak to press or publicists and are only offering contestants for interviews - shame on them for offering innocents to address these issues.

Totally agree with EyesOpen -- the legal framing of issues and statements is evident. But also noticed the kind of excitement that controversy creates shines through that Wrap piece. I can't stand these silly dating "reality" shows -- they are anything but reality -- but think it will be really interesting to foll0w the messaging as legal, money, celebrity/fame drivers are shaped by pundits, activists and just plain folks. Its such an interesting time to be gay!

When did gay people turn so conservative?

two things

one, this is a guy who like it or not represents the gay community. and his past has come out to bite. a lot of gay folks don't see this guy as representative of their community.

two, it ain't the sex part that gets me, it's the talk of race. bigots have always pissed me off.
