Houseboy-sugar daddy situation? Yay or Nay?

 

I don't think I would ever hire for an overnight because I like to sleep alone. I could imagine hiring for an entire day. I have a spacious house for San Francisco, so I suppose could lose him somewhere.

 

Would you help a hot Millennial out of college to stay in your place for a few months in exchange of some "affection"?

Oh hell yeah, totally would. In fact, I recently had a dream where I had a vacation home with a hot college-aged houseboy who kept the place up when I couldn't be there. I then woke up and got a little depressed because reality says I'd have better odds of getting struck by lightning than having the financial means to fulfill that fantasy.

I think the hypothetical is interesting... but I don't know if I could handle the trust issues..

I've done this in the recent past with 2 young men, separately of course. Both times it worked out well. It definitely was not platonic.

 

I was clear at the outset on what my needs were and when I expected them to be met. Similarly, I helped the young man define his needs and goals by discussing how I could help him. I found the experience delightful because I enjoy the company of polite, well-educated and attractive young men.

 

The surprises to me were threefold:

1. I had to set boundaries early on with one man. I explained that I wasn't a parent and so I was not obliged to take care of everything for him.

2. I had not realised how much and how often young men eat (and drink) when they are physically active.

3. Bonds of affection grew quite quickly. On leaving, each man expressed his love for me and how much living with me had helped. (And I remain close to both men)

What can I say, as much as I try to get past it-- the attempted extortion by an escort on me has still fucked me up till this day on issues of trust.

Hired! (I am a little surprised they didn't Photoshop that transverse abdominal incision. At least, I hope that's what the scar is from).
