I never sleep with a watch on...unless I'm drunk off my ass in Vegas.

 

I stopped wearing a watch 2 weeks after I got my first iPhone....I felt like a freed slave.

 

If I'm wearing a watch today...I'm probably just trying to intimidate some small dicked insecure straight dude at a business meeting or a poker table.

I feel more a slave to my phone then I ever did to my watch. With my watch I wasn't continually trying to decide whether to bring my charging cable or searching for wall outlets.

I've got a fancy watch my mother bought me a few years before she died, I wear that when I dress up (which is rare). And I've got my great-grandfather's pocket watch, but that's on the mantel on a little stand.

Serious question here, @deej. Do you think the Apple Watches are actually attractive? Or are they utilitarian for you?

 

No, I don't think I ever said I find them attractive. I said I find them useful.

 

When I was working in an environment where cell phones were disallowed (but I was still expected to respond to texts) the Apple Watch was very useful indeed.

Incidentally I have a sport watch with a black band and it blends in with my leather wrist bands. I wore it to the NY Bondage Club this past weekend. I timed myself and spent 1 hour and 20 minutes flogging a guy! I was totally bushed after that! I think he could have gone longer! Talk about taking a licking!!!!!!!!

LOL Yes! It is sooo dark in the club that a lighted dial is the only way to go. I even have a mini flashlight that I hang from my belt to check that the sub is not overly abused! Unless he wants to be that is!

I put a watch on as soon as I get out of bed, and generally don't take it off again until I go back to bed. I do remove it to shower or swim, but I wear it while I am playing tennis--I am usually the only person on the court who knows what time it is. I never look at my phone for the time.
