James is from Clark County (across the river from Louisville) but he went to high school here in Louisville. His ex-boyfriend was interviewed on television - said that James is gay and probably was only going to the Pride parade in Los Angeles. He was up on a weapons charge here and his BF thinks maybe he was taking his weapons to unload them in LA. Supposedly comes from a good family but kind of a "character." I've seen other pics of him - he is definitely cute. He'll have no problem finding some "love" in the Gray Bar Hotel.

Now that I read the article again, This happened somewhat before the actual Orlando thing. I think the media tried to connect it to the one in Orlando, but it fell flat. We don't know if he was actually going to blow up LA pride or not, I mean he does have a crazy look in his eyes.

 

Regardless, he should be shipped off to a mental facility in Russia.

There was a sarcastic, but amusing, "Letter to the Editor" in the Louisville Courier-Journal this morning regarding the Orlando shooter and James, who is reportedly gay -- a tongue-in-cheek mockery of a certain presidential candidate:

 

"The Pulse shooter apparently was gay, too. Clearly, there needs to be a ban on gays coming into the country, until, you know, someone figures something out. Politicians won't even use the phrase "radical gays." There's something going on, believe me, folks; there's something going on."
