When you hire an escort who is out of state or country how/who makes the travel arrangements? Do I buy the ticket or does the escort and I get reimbursed? Either way? Both ways? How does it normally work? Any potential pitfalls or preferences?

I've only flown a guy in twice, but I bought the ticket both times. It's a trade-off for the escort. He has to trust you with his real name and date of birth, but he avoids the risk of buying a ticket and you being a flake. Each time I offered (neither asked) a few hundred dollars more than their overnight rate to offset the travel time a lttle. It's not like they are "working" during that time, but a single overnight can burn an entire weekend for a guy so there is an opportunity cost.

 

I'm sure there are as many policies as there are escorts, but I had already built up some rapport with these guys. That might have been why they weren't more particular about covering their travel time.

It depends on the working guy. I have had some pay their own way and didn't have to reimburse them for it. I believe this was because they had planned to go else where directly after or extend their stay in my area. I have had to send money for them to purchase the ticket(s). Because, as MikeyGMin stated, some don't want to give away their personal info. I have also had to make the travel plans/buy the tickets for the guy. These were usually for guys who didn't mind me knowing some or all of their personal info. Or usually someone I know well enough they don't care I know their business/info.

 

The best thing to do is talk to the guy you are going to hire. See what his policy is on the ticket purchase. If you're ok with what he wants to do... go for it.

Different escort operate differently.

 

I do not charge for traveling time. However, depending on the traveling distance I will change the minimum session that I accept. Normally I will fly up to 4 hours for an overnight session. Longer travel will make the minimum session grow accordingly.

 

As for booking the travel, I prefer to do it myself. If I know the client I can be paid in full when we meet, if I don't, I will ask for the airfare to be wired beforehand.

 

Personally I would not offer an all inclusive package. I am not a travel agency, I am a professional offering my personal services. Every single other expense that I incur in while providing this service is not in my control and will be covered by my client.

 

You will, however find as many different ways of operating as there are escorts.

 

Do not try to find what's the norm or what others think is best. Find an escort with whom you develop good rapport and find a solution that works for you. If this solution works as well for him, then you are in business. If this solution doesn't work for him do not try to force him to accept it; there will be someone who will.

As an escort, I charge a rate for travel time, the cost of the transportation and then the cost of whatever time is requested. The travel rate is determined by length of travel. For example, if someone were to ask me to come to Boston, that's 4 hours on a train each way along with travel to/from the train station. This easily adds up to a total of 9-10 hours that I'm traveling back and forth and can't otherwise work, but I'm not directly engaged with a client, so I charge a lesser amount for travel, the cost of the train back and forth, and then my regular rate for the time of the session. I don't request a minimum but that is because I charge for travel and experience has taught me that guys who are looking for me to travel and are willing to incur the expenses of my travel aren't going to have me stay for an hour only - though it would be ok if that was what was wanted. . If I'm already in a city, I do not charge for travel.
