I'm sure most of us have heard the term "Gold Star Gay", meaning you've never slept with a woman. I have been Gold-Star all of my life. I tried having sex with my girlfriend when I was 16, but was so nervous that I couldn't get hard. Yesterday I had my first ever client who is trans. I was a little anxious but he was really terrific and we had an amazing time. I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. So, now I'm pondering, have I lost my "star" all together or am I a "half-star gay" now?

Some of prefer our stars a bit "tarnished" ... and the word "half" suggests statistics, so if you've had sex with, say, one hundred men in your lifetime and one biological female, that would suggest a "99%-star" rating, and if you do it on the basis of identification rather than genetics, since you used the pronoun "he", I think you could even keep your star :)

Interesting dilemma. Part of me says, 'Does it even matter?' I also don't know whether 'Gold Star' is a good or a bad thing. Maybe it means one knew how one was wired and stayed true to it. Conversely, maybe it means one was too timid to experiment when one was working out sexual orientation. (I didn't come across the term until early this year. Disclosure: as I found out at the same time, apparently I'm platinum. For me that's good for giggles not a matter of any significance.) So, I'm not going to be the one who says you have given up your star status. If both of you consider that your meeting was same sex, who am I to judge?

If you put you dick in his vagina, then you have had sex with a man who has a vagina. In that case, you would now be able to describe from first hand experience what vaginal sex is like. I hear you are a 5 Gold Star Escort, so I do not think anyone cares whether your penis has seen the inside of a vagina. Keep your star if you want it, but it is all good.

+1

I certainly don't care as long as I can have a turn with your dick now and then. 5 Gold Star Escort Forever!

The OP's original post leaves it ambiguous whether he hooked up with a male to female client or a female to male client. Seems like that might make a difference somehow.

And how far along in the transition was he? That also might affect your gold star status, at least from a cis-centric pov.

If you didn't have sex with a woman, how would this encounter change your (albeit supremely cis-centric) ranking?

I hope I didn't come across as ignorant or cis-centric, I meant to convey that it was an illuminating and wonderful experience, was just having fun with the notion of "gold-star" gay. It was my first time with a vagina.

I mentioned that he was trans and I said he. There are very few trans-guys that have had gender reassignment surgeries, because it isn't very developed. The majority just have breast-tissue removal and hormones.

Let's chilax brothers & sisters. Mr Navarro is one of the kindest & most open-minded guys around. The key here is he had an adventure he had never had before and we should celebrate when any of us tries new stuff!

Mwah!!! Thanks for saying that sweetie, it's my hope that most will see me that way, and thanks for the glitter, we could all use more of it in our lives.

In a world that has moved away from a binary universe, the stars system is outdated and regressive (as opposed to progressive). Trash your golden star and enjoy everything and everybody you can.

I agree, there's nothing wrong with knowing what you enjoy, but we should always be open to new experiences.

I'd never heard of the term "Gold Star Gay" before, but I guess I'm one.

However, I have to say, I've seen some trans men who are HOT!! If I had the chance, I'd certainly consider giving up my gold star for one of them. :)

Maybe you've graduated to platinum.

Apparently 'Platinum' means never having experienced a vagina under any circumstances, including at birth (i.e. born by caesarean section).
