There's no definite way to work around it. I don't want to scare you off as, except for being in a foreign country while doing it , I know exactly what you are going through. We all do. On my 1st hire 13-1/2 years ago even though the guy was a well-known former porn star, I was worried about a sting operation. I drove around the parking lot of the hotel trying to see if there were any cars from law enforcement there before going up to meet him. I also had fears about a sting operation inside the hotel. The best solution, while not perfect, is to choose someone from Daddy's Reviews who seems compatible with you who has multiple non 1st time reviewers.

 

The number one guy right now in LA is most likely Alec Andrews. If you can schedule him, you are gravy as they say (that's a good thing in case the idiom doesn't translate into Australian English). He's very experienced and should be able to take your lack of experience in his stride.
