Those morning line odds quite generous for Nyquist! Of course horse racing betting is parimutuel, the real odds on Nyquist come post time on Saturday will be severely short, far less than even money.

I haven't handicapped the full field yet, I'll be looking a horse to beat the favorite, extremely common for the favorite NOT to win the Kentucky Derby.

Well I would not bet on Tom's Ready. The escort I have hired named Tom never finishes first. Going for a second round for me, I get Mo' Tom but still he does not finish first. Trojan Nation does not have that intense finishing spurt. Creator took 7 days to finish, much like Tom. And when I hear of Suddenbreakingnews, we have to re-saddle up and remount, so that takes too much time. Cherry Wine (It hurts so much because I have never done this) seems to require taking it slow. I think the one that makes me go the fastest is the with More Spirit, so that is my bet. To finish first, I go with More Spirit.
