For the first three years of my existence my family and I lived next door to Ludwig (Ludie) the dachshund. Although I do not remember much about him, I do know I've had an affinity for dachshunds for as long as I can remember. I'm contemplating adopting a dog once my work schedule dies down. It is a tossup between a dachshund and a greyhound. Maybe I'll get one of each!

Yes one of each. Even better, two of each. I have four dogs and what I have found that once you have a dog, your life is not your own so you might as well have a slew of them.
