Back in December Bo Dean was shot and is now paralyzed from the waist down. One of his female fans called and asked if I could take down his review page because of the one negative review. The review appears to be be warranted. Normally, I'd tell her to go suck eggs.

However as Paul Harvey used to say: "Here's the rest of the story:" She's very much into porn and not too long ago lost her son to suicide. She dived into porn as her solace and as a result came across Bo' story. He actively helped her work through her grief, and now she is trying to help him through his.

I'm now showing him as "Retired." https://www.gofundme.com/BoDean if you feel he's earned a break.

Personally, I'd give him a break. I doubt he will be escorting in the future, so what purpose will the review serve? And removing it would make this lady (and perhaps Mr. Dean) happy. So I vote to REMOVE the REVIEW.

Ditto. Or, at least move him to "inactive."

I think the reviews should be entirely removed at the request of the escort, especially when he's retired.

Could somebody explain what the policy is on that? I know that some reviews are removed entirely, '5pennies' and 'Gregg - LA' are examples of that. Other guys stay on there forever, marked as 'retired'. Their picture is taken down, and their contact information is deleted. But the reviews stay. However, that does not ensure privacy. For instance, when you google the phone number of 'Muscle Stud Boy', his reviews still show up on the google search. I know him well, and I know that he has requested frequently to remove all his reviews but that doesn't happen for some reason. So, why a removal of '5 pennies' and 'Gregg - LA', but not 'Muscle Stud Boy'? These are just the examples I know, there must be others.

The policy is that I normally don't remove reviews.

By posting this message, Daddy has allowed everyone who reads the Forums to know about this Gentlemen's current situation. The GoFundMe site is a great opportunity for those who wish to provide financial help at this time which I think he appears to need more than character reconstruction via the removal of the review.

Remove, pro favor!

Early last year I had an appointment with an escort who turned out to be a complete, rude dud. I wrote a negative, candid review at www.rentmen.com. The escort was livid because it was his first one there. He apologized for his actions and had wanted to see me without a fee; I chose NOT to take him up on it but ask the web manager at the aforementioned site to remove it. The manager complied; I felt good about what both of us did, for the escort would be the one hurting badly [financially]. Also, I knew that I would NOT be engaging his services again and the men who read my review would have to make a call! So, I'm in favor of having this guy's removed since it would not serve any purpose based on his circumstances.

I think if a person has retired his photo should be taken down and reviews removed at some point (although not necessarily the same time). I’ve never paid much attention to reviews more than about 3 years old anyway. People change. And so does their photo appearance.

Now, in answer to the question:

He deserves the break you’ve given him now. It was right of you to move him to “Retired”. Also very nice of you to post the link.

If an escort LEAVES the business, then could someone explain why reviews are retained of a person who no longer provides that service? It is a waste of server space. Does an escort have to contact the administration of the review sites and say "I am no longer escorting & have moved to a new stage in Life. Please remove my information from your website"?

Posting the link was a very nice gesture, very kind of you. I would pay it forward and remove the review, I also wonder what purpose keeping reviews up of guys that no longer do this serves, can you enlighten us daddy? I am sure there is a reasoning behind it. For me it would be a tease to see this gorgeous man with these great reviews that I can't have, because he is "out of business" :D
