300-400 now the norm?

Here in Southern California there are escorts who charge $300 and $400 per hour. There are also escorts who charge between $200 and $250. I haven't done a rate distribution analysis, but a quick scan of ads indicates the majority of escorts who list a rate charge between $200 and $275 per hour, not including multi-hour discounts.

 

 

 

At the risk of sounding like a picky statistics, math, language, and vocabulary wonk (which I am) you really can't extrapolate rates charged by a certain "type" across the entire population of escorts and deem it a "norm." That method could easily be used to claim $150 is the new norm if one's "type" charged $150 an hour. However, your statement would be 100% accurate if it read "Increasing number of escorts charging $300 - $400."

I don't think "type" has anything to do with pricing. As they say, one man's meat... On the other hand, if an escort has a unique feature attractive to a certain pool of clients, he may be able to charge more.

The question made me curious and I did a quick look at all the ads on Rentmen for Atlanta.

 

  • There were 42 ads with Incall rates and the average was $211 and median $200. The minimum is $120 and maximum is $300.
     
  • There were 55 ads with Outcall rates and the average was $235 and median $250. The minimum is $150 and maximum is $300.
     
  • The average age is 29 (minimum is 18 and maximum is 57) and the median is 27 years old.
     
  • There wasn't any correlation of rate to age
  • I didn't grab any other fields on this pass like ethnicity, position, etc., but correlations to these elements may be interesting.

I'm not sure what all of this means; perhaps it's more interesting to watch over time to see if there are trends.

For first time clients my standard rate does not deviate from the hourly rate nor do I provide discounts. So if you're a new client of mine and want 3 hours, you would be subject to $900 for the session fee.

 

If you've previously seen me, then discounts are available and it tends to vary upon the individual.

 

And if any of y'all have ever seen me, I am extremely lenient on what an hour is, haha. My hourly rate of $300 applies across the entire U.S. and is priced in a way to keep demand at a certain level so I have time to actually run my other businesses.

 

The average rate here in Austin appears to be $250 ( I remember it being closer to $200 earlier in the year ) so rates seem to be increasing steadily with the very few number of guys here.

 

You know.. I should arrange it so that I hire you during day light savings when time sets back :p :P

Unless of course your "type" is a 6'4" muscle bound, drop dead gorgeous, horse hung mega-popular porn star. Then, yeah, you might expect to pay a littler more. On another level, have you looked at the beef prices at the supermarket lately? Just say'n.

That's kinda what I admitted with my latest post but thank you for showing we can always count on someone being as anally-retentive as possible :)

I truly agree with your take. Now I will fork out $350 for two hours as one of my escorts requires from all, unless the time exceeds his requirement. But one time he spent almost 4

with me and only took his requested fee. Yes, since the requested fee/donation has escalated tremendously for far too many escorts, my hiring has slowed down tremendously, or

I have continued to see "my regular" who has increased his "out" fee by $25.
