I have a dislike for tattoos, which was instilled in me as a young boy. They stood for "low class" or mistakes made during a drunken escapade while young.

 

However, times have changed, and tattoos are much more acceptable. However, I find myself avoiding escorts with tattoos. It amazes me that some of them with beautiful bodies want to distract from their natural look.

 

Piercings really turn me off. I find I can't even look at people with facial piercings.

 

Does anyone else share this view?

It depends on many tattoos they have, and locations of them. I find sleeve ink repulsive (my mind flashes "meth dealer"--unfair, I know). Ink on the hands, neck, face, or feet are all No-Gos for me personally. Back when he was still shooting videos, I found "Charlie Harding" an extremely attractive man. Once he left porn and got those odd tattoos on the tops of his feet, the attraction faded. A few tattoos are ok, but I follow the rule I learned from the Army--"If I can see your tattoos in uniform, then you're wrong".

Not a fan of tattoos in general. There are exceptions (check out Vin Marco in the gallery section) but in general would prefer a clear skin. On the other hand, I tend to be more tactile than visual, so once the touching begins, even the worst tattoos seem unimportant if the feeling is right.

I saw a very well-known bodybuilder/escort several times a few years ago....the last time I saw him, he'd gotten even more tattoos and I decided it just wasn't worth it anymore.....the tattoos simply covered up a great body and skin....

I always ask if a guy has tattoos or piercings. A single small tattoo is ok for me, beyond that I look for someone else. Most of the time the guy says he doesn't have any piercings.

I don't like tattoos or piercings at all. I can sort of overlook a small tattoo on the arm if the guy is really hot. But I really really detest them on the legs and torso. As tattoos get older and fade no matter what color was there in the first place just seems to all turn blue. They look like bruises or some kind of pathological skin condition. I live in a neighborhood where many young people of the hipster type reside and sometimes it seems that there's hardly anyone from that generation who doesn't have tattoos, male and female. I really don't get it. I can't fathom what the motivation would be to get a tattoo other than to follow a fad that one's peers are also following in an attempt to be cool. When I see tattoos I automatically think "regret". I think about how it's going to look when the skin has aged and sags or if they gain weight how distorted the image will become.

At the same time I would never express my dislike for tattoos to someone who has them. I just assume, perhaps erroneously, that everyone regrets getting them if they admit it to themselves or not and I wouldn't have the heart to rub it in.

As far as escorts go, having tattoos generally immediately disqualifies them in my book, so it cuts down on my temptation to hire many guys whom I would seriously consider if they weren't all scribbled up with tattoos. I have made exceptions, like I said, if the guy was really hot and if the tattoos were not obtrusive. I like a classic look and I always make a point to congratulate escorts who have no tattoos and encourage them to never get any.

I am fine with a tattoo or two, but I don't want to see any if the guy is wearing a business suit. I wasn't always that open minded; however, friends and family changed that for me. (Same holds true for women - don't want to see if any if they are dressed for business.)

I detest tattoos. I cannot understand what gets into people to disfigure their bodies in this way. To me they are about as attractive as an ugly birthmark or a scar. Massive tattooing has been around for quite awhile now like 15+ years. I think the trend is fading among the very young (early 20s). They grew up with adults having lots of tattoos. It's passé. It will take awhile for it to become evident in the population however. That's my guess anyway.

I share your views 100%. I find tattoos and piercings a real turn-off. I respect anybody who wants to have them, of course, but I don't want them getting next to me in bed!

Small decorative tats are ok, especially if the guy has a meaningful life story behind the art. But many tats covering a large swath of flesh are distracting and unpleasant. That's strictly from a client hiring preference. The libertarian streak in me says yall have at it.
