Any of you hate early AM flights as much as I do?

Oh for god sakes Unicorn lighten up and re-read my posts and try to understand them for the obvious sarcastic humor implied. The entire bus thing was a JOKE. Not that this is any of your business but I have been hiring Mr. Kesslar for over ten year and if he felt I was mistreating him, in anyway, he would have fired me years ago.

Absolutely, Epigonos! You are talking about your relationship with Mr Kesslar, whereas Unicorn is talking about the average punter with the average escort, even if that was not what he said. You and Steven have a long basis for your professional relationship, so you both know the rules. I suspect there might be some quick recalculation of remuneration if you wanted him to catch a bus to PV!

If I were to fly into Los Angeles and wanted an escort to meet me there, I suspect he would calculate his fee based on when he left his home and when he returned. A second or third time he might well calculate things differently, but maybe not. That said, I am inclined to travel to an escort rather than pay him to travel to where I am. I did have an e-mail discussion with a well-known escort in which he suggested that I fly him here for a meeting, but did not take him up on that suggestion!

These days I just hate flights. Period.

The one great good to ensue from 9/11 -- prodding corporations to wake up from their addiction to superfluous travel.

Today we hold so many meetings perfectly satisfactorily by phone/web conference for which, once upon a time, management or clients would have mandated us to fling our carcasses around the globe.

FULLY AGREE!

You know I think next year's Palm Springs weekend could be done by phone but the effect of seeing some of the escorts in and out of their bathing trunks might not have the same effect.

DREADING having to wake up to an alarm to catch my 5:55am flight to Chicago on Thurs!

I was just compelled to book a 5am flight in a few weeks. I didn't know 5am flights existed. Typically I consider anything prior to a 10:30am departure to be "early". 5am departures should be illegal.

I'd prefer a 2 am flight over a 5 am flight. I can stay up late...like I am now, but I can't wake up early. To get to a 5 am flight..., and get a good nights sleep...I'd have to be up at 2 am. An hour to get ready, an hour to get to the airport (parking/shuttle/construction), an hour to get checked and bagged. I hate flying. In that time, I could be sleep and driving the next day. Then my stomach is all twisted

I do get a bit irked when a client calls me at the last minute, expects me to be clear over by the airport in 5 minutes because they have an early flight. Can't use basic common sense. So I'm with you on that one.

Due to a delayed flight I once landed somewhere (Phoenix?) in a layover in an airport that had actually closed for the night. I didn't know they did that. We couldn't wait for our connecting flight in the airport, we had to go to hotels, which the airline paid for.

I was on a delayed flight once in India, that couldn't land at our destination because the airport there had already closed (they had no landing lights for night arrivals), so we had to fly on to another city, where the airline put the passengers up in hotels for the night, then flew them back to the destination the next morning.

In order to accommodate Mr. Kesslar’s aversion to early morning flights I have just canceled his portion of the flight arrangements I had made for our Puerto Vallarta excursion scheduled for November. I have instead purchased a bus ticket for him which departs from the downtown Los Angeles Greyhound Depot at three in the afternoon for the forty-four hour trip to P.V. This arrangement will allow him to get all his beauty sleep and not require him to rise and shine early for the lousy flight out of LAX

I was AWOL with the flu for the last several days, and today is apparently the day when I stupidly say all kinds of shit that is going to get me into trouble. So here we go.

First, the Mexican buses are great. I have used them repeatedly, especially to go from Mexico City to Cuernavaca, but also other places. I wouldn't mind spending more time on them.

Second, regarding my beauty sleep, I have been getting a lot of sleep, but I am anything but beautiful. Epigonos called me up this weekend to ask about my trip to Europe. I didn't return the call for a few days, and when I did he correctly said I sounded like shit. I look like shit, too. I need a trip to Mexico to get over this. Will somebody fucking hire me and fly me there? I don't give a shit if the flight leaves at 7 AM, as long as the stupid fucking TSA does not shut the airport down at about 7 AM like they did when I flew out of LAX to meet Epigonos in Mexico back in 2010.

Third, while Epigonos is very good at being a smart ass, I question whether he is actually smart. During our most recent phone call, when he could clearly tell I sounded like shit and I was trying to simply end the conversation, he repeatedly attempted to engage me in conversation about Hillary Clinton's latest problems, which I am quite sure delight him. Finally he got the point and ended the conversation, happily, by saying, "I'll let you go. You get well and we can talk later." So my question is, whether I get paid to ride on a bus or fly on a plane to Mexico, do I get paid to talk on the phone for hours with Epigonos about dumb shit like Hillary Clinton's problems? And while we're at it, if I do get paid for talking to him about things like Hillary Clinton, can the Department of Homeland Security then arrest me for it and come up with a bunch of bullshit about how I am somehow a threat to Homeland Security?

Like I said, today is my day to say all kinds of dumb shit.
