I love when people make bold statements when they do not have all the facts. Hopefully, Daddy will return and when he does he may decide to share with us why there was a break or he may not. He does not owe us anything. Your attitude is one which i often see in people who believe they are entitled to just about everything. I usually stay away from such people.

Agreed PK. My attitude is I'm glad Daddy's paid the power bill, the Internet bill, and that the Mac Mini is up and running flawlessly during his absence.

 

Whatever his circumstances, I wish him well.

I really hate to see someone get a time-out for something like this. Firecat is just expressing an opinion. Let's not suppress that or make members reluctant to speak freely.

I don't. His opinion was wrong, obnoxious and uncalled for IMHO. And it think the moderators probably gave him an opportunity to reconsider his words before his discipline.

 

His first post to this thread might be overlooked as just his opinion; the second struck me as the equivalent of being invited into someone's home and pissing on the rug.

More like shitting on the rug. Daddy's running both sites - and they are two separate sites - and paying for it from what the ad revenue generates on the daddysreviews.com site.

 

He's pretty generous to all of us ingrates.

Do we want a message board that only includes those who kiss up to management, or are pollyannas only saying sweet things to each other? Cuz that's what you will get.

Personally, I am concerned for Daddy, as are many here. I don't understand why management can't let his fans here know what is going on. I don't get the secrecy. We don't need details that would violate his privacy, but something to let us know that our concerns have not gone unnoticed and gives us a reasonable expectation of his return.

 

(deej has posted an update in Daddy's forum that at least gives us a time frame for a return without letting us know why the absence exists. I am going to let this go, just wish Daddy well and hope he isn't sick.)

Post number one is an opinion rendered by someone who is ignorant of the facts. While I do not agree with it, it doesn't warrant a time-out. Post number two is more than just an ill-informed opinion. It is a misstatement of fact that has more than a tinge of malice to it.

Agreed. Responding to a somewhat immature comment with a somewhat immature act doesn't contribute anything positive.
