Actually that has happened to me before on a few occasions. This scenario is VERY common and I have seen it happen both ways alot. I actually try and discourage 2 or 3 hour bookings initially UNLESS there is a lunch or dinner involved.

This happens more than you would think for different reasons... I can understand some feeling slighted by it.

I would have no problem if someone did that, but if I really wanted the guy to stay and asked him to do so and he still insisted on leaving anyway, I would be disappointed. I'd obviously still let him go, but it might have an impact on whether I'd want a repeat appointment.
