Midyear check-in: How's that 2013 Escort Wish List coming along?

Have you made any progress on your 2013 wish list? Any additions to the list in the past six months? (I bumped up the old thread so you can review what you said ... or just jump in now).

 

I'm afraid I've only been able to meet one person from my wish list, but what a fantastic meeting it was: Nate Bruno. And I'm really glad he made a tour of Atlanta since he seems to be phasing out somewhat from the business.

 

Here was my list:

I'm still hoping to make it to Chicago later this year to take an endurance session with Mr. Manzo and maybe Mr. Justice too. I said late last year I was doing this trip come hell or high water, but now I'm afraid I can't be that certain I'll be able to go, but I'm still optimistic I'll find a way to pull it off. Trips to D.C., NYC and Palm Springs will most likely be relegated to 2014 and beyond (unless any of the escorts on my list decide to add Atlanta to their tours as Mr. Bruno did).

 

Sadly, the now-late Arpad Miklos was one of the escorts I had in mind from my "several in NYC" group. I also wanted to connect with Josh Ryley who has left the business in wake of Mr. Miklos' death. I'd still like to connect with Rafael Alencar and meet again with Tom Isern.

 

And just today, I have added a new guy to the wish list if he escorts: Jake Driver.

 

I'm planning on taking the Sean Long challenge now that he's based in Atlanta. And then I can report on exactly what this big-dicked guy means when he says he's not into pain! [AGAIN -- A JOKE]

I haven't done very well with my list. I am at a point where I don't find the hiring experience very enjoyable ranging in reasons from not showing up, not looking like the pictures, or rates higher than a price point than I can enjoy myself at. The guys I am attracted to and want to see aren't in my geographical area ( its not practical to fly all over the place just to spend an hour with someone) and I am liking overnight/extended appointments less and less.

 

I really wanted to meet Andrew Irons (but our email exchange led to nowhere + geography), James West (geography - but I strongly considered flying to New York to meet this STUD!!), and Atomic Shawn (geography + no face pic available) - and it looks more and more like this will not happen. A couple of other guys I was interested in either have no credible reviews, won't show their faces and/or are terrible geographic matches.

 

One of my regular favorites, has disappeared from the scene completely. My other has basically left the business, although we will be spending roughly 2 weeks together later this year that we booked before he decided to leave the business. I am a little nervous about such a long engagement (my longest hire ever) but still looking forward to what will likely be be our last time together.

Ditto....I noticed a major shift in my attitude toward the hiring of escorts this year. I'm not sure if it was the move or just changes in my life, but I find myself enjoying the company of friends more and thinking less and less about who I am going to hire. And like D2B traveling to see escorts or hiring for overnights has lost its appeal. I still enjoy the strip clubs, but even that seems less exciting, and I do get tired of the hustle sometimes....Here in Lauderdale, hooking up is easier than in LA, and far more appealing to me than paying for it.

As far as clothes are concerned, that's been a development that's occurred later in life. Clothes are fun.
