It would seem that it would be best that the operator/administrator, who calls himself Daddy, sell the site to someone with the time and finances to operate it in a regular and efficient manner. It has in some ways been "off the air" for some time now.

To put it another way -- waah! my free website isn't working!

Such cheek! Such impertinence! It's Daddy's site and he's free to run it as efficiently or as inefficiently as he sees fit :)

this is the norm. haven't you been around long enough to know that yet?

daddy is doing a fine job. maybe you could give some pointers here in how to run a successful business model? If you think you know better, speak up

kjun: your "join date" says 2002, so you must know Daddy has taken some holiday time off now for years....this is a community, as they say, not some big corporate outfit....the message board is still going, the existing reviews are still there.....not worth getting too stressed over....

That remark strikes me a one of the most impertinent I can recall hearing.

Such arrogance is annoying.

And to think, he has the nerve to charge for his efforts. You should demand your money back! Oh, wait...

I'm sure comments like this won't be missed should you chose to spend your time on a site more to your liking.

As someone who runs a small business, it is very common for people to come in and tell you how to run it. Sometimes I thank them and move on. Sometimes I explain to them why I have rejected their thoughts previously (I have yet to come across a truly novel idea from these blowhards) and when I am in a mood and of a mind, I tell them that their patronage is not welcomed as I do not feel that I can truly satisfy their needs and so they are best served elsewhere. In this case, i would opt for 1 unless kjun has been a particular pain in the ass and then i would use option 3.

Perhaps you'd like to take it over.

As someone who runs a small business…I have yet to come across a truly novel idea from these blowhards…and when I am in a mood and of a mind

Many small business owners are rarely, if ever, "in the mood" or "of a mind" to accept constructive criticism or creative advice from anyone. Most small business owners are blowhards themselves, limited in brain power and creativity, burdened by ego and hubris, and bored out of their wits by the mundane daily routine they've created.

It takes a specific type of mind and personality to be a smart, creative leader, one who can identify and appreciate the genius ideas of others, and incorporate those ideas into their own, with a goal to build something bigger and better.

Great leadership is a treasured gift that few men possess. Just because a man is born gay doesn't mean his genes are gifted with creative talent or supreme intellect, or that he knows how to collect great ideas and do something positive with them.

Some men are just content to be, while others prefer to dream and make their dreams come true.

Yes Rockhard you may find blowhards anywhere, for example some find one in the mirror. Your generalization such as "many small business owners are rarely if ever in a mood to accept constructive criticism or creative advice from anyone" is totally without foundation. It is probably fair to say that many small business owners are not particularly fond of ill informed and unsolicited advice. As for ego and hubris, well that certainly is not a limited quality in small businessmen, blog posters or almost any other group, I would bet even those with "genius ideas" suffer with ego and hubris, probably as much if not more than others. In face the phrase "genius ideas" smacks of it.

I have can think of at least 10 escorts on this board who are sucessful small business owners, all of whom are willing to take constructive criticism and advice. Most of the people are know from designers to consultants to record label owners to singers to ... are successful small business owners and not a single one suffers from any hubris and all have superior brain power which is what allowed them to start and build their small business rather than sit on their hands contributing unwarranted nonsense to an internet blog.

If you don't like the service - don't use; don't like the product - don't buy it; think you can do better - take the opportunity. You always have a choice!!
