Its kinda funny, to me at least, that while I have never considered myself superstitious for most things, whenever Friday the 13th comes around I tend to be more careful and avoid making important decisions.

I always enjoyed the scene in Apollo 13 where they discussed the number 13 being bad luck:

Reporter: So... the number 13 doesn't bother you?

Fred Haise, Sr.: Only if it's a Friday, Phil.

Reporter: Apollo 13 - lifting off at 1300 hours and 13 minutes, and, entering the moon's gravity on April 13th.

Jim Lovell: Uh, Ken Mattingly has been doing some... scientific experiments regarding that very phenomenon, haven't you?

Ken Mattingly: Well, uh, yes, well I uh, had a black cat walk over a broken mirror under the lunar module ladder, didn't seem to be a problem.

Probably right. I'm scheduled to meet with a new escort named Jason Voorheese later today. Seems to have some fetishes but I'm sure it will turn out ok :)

I feel it will be good for me to come out here and admit I have paraskevidekatriaphobia. I am in recovery but it isn't an easy process. I do wonder if I should let the escorts I hire know about this in advance. Happy Friday the 13th to everyone.

Instead of walking under a ladder, I'll climb the ladder to some hunks room. Instead of petting a black cat, I'll be sucking a big cock.

Boston Bill

As far as the Big cock sucking is concerned, there should be a National holiday to celebrate that ! And I want to apply as Grand Marshall !

I'm not superstitious at all about Friday the 13th, black cats, etc.

However, I've learned over the years to trust my gut instincts about certain people and places. For instance, I went to a job interview in 1986 and went and looked at the building the night before. Literally the second I laid eyes on it, I knew it would become "home." And it was for 11 years. It was definitely something beyond wishful thinking.

I've also had a few vague premonitions in my life.

On Sept. 10, 2001, I was driving along the interstate when a thundercloud rolled over. Normally, I like storms. This one filled me with a sense of dread that was and still is hard to describe.

I had a bed feeling the very first time I heard the name Hurricane Fran in 1996. It caused a lot of damage and the brother of a good friend of mine was killed.

In 1991, I dreamed that President Bush (the Daddy) and Gorbachev had been involved in car accidents and the world was on edge. I couldn't go back to sleep because the dream was so vivid and real to me. I finally gave up and turned on the news around 5 a.m. There had been an attempted coup in the Soviet Union and Gorbachev was missing.

When I was in college, my grandfather was ill. I woke up one morning and just knew -- without a phone call -- to go home. I drove home, about an hour away. I went to his hospital room. It was empty. He had died about an hour before and they couldn't reach me (before the cell phone era).

I don't think I'm psychic, and I certainly don't have any certainty or details to these things, but something I can't explain is going on there time to time.

As for most Fridays...people tend to behave badly at night. Add in Friday the 13th, people get REALLY crazy. So I always use a bit of extra awareness.

I love Friday the 13th...people are usually in a joking mood, and no one gets too serious about anything. In WEHO I tend to love Friday nights. People are really unwinding from the week and 'Happy Hour' is particularly festive...People tend to have less attitude and just are looking for some good conversation...it is Saturday nights that I tend to steer clear of, until 10 pm that is...then of course the dancin boys come on!!! AND then it is "game on"

Chalk another one up to the curse of Friday the 13th: I just finished reading a lengthy article in the latest "Vanity Fair" recapping the Costa Concordia accident and rescue. The ship hit the rocks on the evening of Friday, the 13th of January. And with a full moon to boot! Here's the link to the article excerpt:

You have to get the magazine for the full article. It's a well researched and illuminating read, worth checking out.

Hey Nate...First off how are you? Secondly, just read the same article.....BUT....LOL LOL the Costa Concordia hit the rocks because the Captain was an "Incompetent Fool".... let's not blame that on a full moon or the 13th...I love Friday the 13th AND especially full moons, don't you notice how everyone acts a little different on nights when there is a full moon...perfect night to go out and play, well actually, any night is a perfect night to go out and play...LOL
