Tomorrow morning we're off to Paradise! With stops in St. Louis, Oklahoma (an evening of "cinema verite" with Okliehomo - no Oscar nominations, but surely will be award winning:p), New Mexico, and Phoenix before arriving Wednesday before noon. That's assuming no weather problems.:) It would be nice if Shadow would share the driving, but he just wants to sleep!:rolleyes: All in preparation for late March.;)

I have driven that same route, and it is actually about the most direct route one can take, all interstates headed WSW. I'm sure Oliver would journey through Oklahoma even without the special hospitality offered by Okliehomo. Besides, Shadow can navigate that route with his eyes closed.

Am in sunny and warm OOOOOOOOOklahoma (where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain), anticipating "Movie Night"!;)

 

Just think, you'll get a chance to meet one of Okie's stars "up close and personal" in PS. Should I ask him to bring a pen, or would you prefer a different type of "autograph"?

I rescued an ex boyfriend from the Motel 6 (where he had been living) in PS one year ago October. There had been a suicide from the roof that landed in front of his window. I arrived to police, yellow tape and a methed out frame of what was once a nice guy. I drove him around town to collect what little belongings he had scattered about other meth head's houses. I will say that it's very pretty, however, the local bartending and hotel worker crowd that I met left me with a very sour taste. What a collection of young people ruining their lives and health.

I Have arrived!

 

Yes, I did arrive in Paradise – sorry to not have written before. I was blessed with spectacular weather the entire way – no clouds, no precipitation, just clear skies and above normal temperatures.

 

Stopped with the consummate host, Okliehomo, where I partook of the potables, pizza, and private porn provided. I most certainly felt welcomed. Thank you, Okie.

 

Then it was on to Moriarty, NM. Remind me to either go further, or not as far next time. Whereas the motel was fine for Shadow and me, the dearth of restaurants where I might enjoy some Tex/Mex (or anything else), as suggested by justaguy, was a big disappointment.:(

 

Fortunately the next evening made up for that. The stop was in Phoenix, and guess who is now a resident there? My Erotic Technical Consultant, Jason Carter!!! So, of course, we had to have a “planning session”, otherwise known as “dessert”.:p That was followed by a delightful dinner at a restaurant of his choice near his home. Thank you, Jason. Great “plans”!;)

 

So now I’m here enjoying the sun, renewing acquaintances, and anticipating visitors here in Paradise.:cool:
