How Many Hires in 2011?

Last year, Charlie started this thread. I think it was fun to see some of the answers. A few were positively jaw dropping. Here was Charlie's post from last year (with the year changed)

 

It's time for those end-of-year summaries. I have always been interested in numbers--both definitions of the word--so I am curious to know how many times posters have hired escorts in 2011. If you want to further inform (or grumble, or brag) about your sex life, you may also indicate the ratio of paid to unpaid encounters this past year.

 

And if you'd like to add other info: Length of hires (generally), any threeways? Fourways? Moreways? Anything else you'd like to add.

Since I'm posting this, I'll start off. My first (and most likely last) full year of hiring, I had 25 hire dates with 11 different escorts. I had one long weekend (of course Palm Springs weekend), one 24 hour hire, 3 overnights, and the rest ranging from 2-4 hours. Seven were 3 ways.

 

As far as unpaid, just a couple until I met my now bf. That part I've stopped since meeting him.

Only hired four escorts this year... but other than a couple short stints (overnights with BMW and Romann and Raul) all the other hires were 5-11 days in length. starting with Romann in Palm Springs (8 days) and then Dane in NY, CT and PA.

 

Had a couple wonderful weekends hanging out with some of the visiting guys here in New York (Nate SF, Ace, Dane, Romann) and In Chicago with Nate SF, Tyger, Raul, Dane, Romann and Others at IML. and all this was in the first half of the year. By July.... I had my last hire... for now

 

Only one threeway with an escort and that was not a hire ... well not for me ;-) and was hired by three guys myself earlier in the year. As I said an Odd year for me.

I estimate I've spent $3,000 this year. I don't spend money I don't have and it's always free cash after all bills and savings goals are reached.

I wish I could be more like you, but I usually DONT allow myself the Luxury of hiring as much as I would like to, although when I do, its a special guy that Ive lusted after, and I do enjoy it. But I always find myself making an excuse by finding other things to spend the "escort" money on. I'm constantly saving for that "rainy day", and althought i now have considerable amounts of mnoey, and I am 60 and no rain in sight, I still cant break my frugal habits. Nearly all of my clients are repeat/regulars yet I don't think any of them hires more than once a month.

Well, let me think.. I always hire for a minimum of an overnight of which I've done 8 with four different escorts, and 3 weekend hires, one each with my three favorites. For 2012, I won't be looking for new guys (except one who's been on my radar for 2 years, who I'll hopefully meet for the first time at the DC luncheon) I plan to continue with my faves.. it ain't broke so I'm not fixing it!

Each year I find I am hiring fewer and fewer new guy. In 2011 I hired only two.

 

One turned out to be something of a hysterical disaster but in the end the fault was mine. The get together started out with numerous problems so I decided to cancel the whole thing and then, mistakenly changed my mind – dumb, Dumb, Dumb. The second appointment was with Karsin Knightly which was excellent. He is a great guy with a great body and cock. He is very participatory and kisses like a dream. I should, most definitely, have written a very positive review but unfortunately neglected to do so.

 

My two regulars are Dante Scott who I got together with in Palm Springs and Steven Kesslar who I spend time with in Puerto Vallarta. Time with these two guys is always fantastic thus I find myself returning to them more and more often.

Earlier in the year, I started a thread discussing my escort hiring slump. So not surprisingly, my number of hires this year was much less than in previous years and my satisfaction with them was less as well. One might easily see how this could become a vicious cycle of not hiring because of lack of good experiences and then not having good experiences from lack of hiring.

So a rather unimpressive number of escorts hired 6. Five of those 6 were new. Four of the five new guys were travellers to the NYC area, though I had some of those encounters in Philadelphia. One encounter was with a new hire in Toronto. One encounter was with a new hire visitor in NYC. Both of these were okay. One encounter in Philly was with someone who I had hired in the past but he has seemingly retired and his head did not really seem into it. I had three overnight encounters with one escort and unfortunately two out of three, two arranged for connecting nights, were less than stellar and bad. The third encounter with that escort was overnight at my home for an overnight and that was quite good, after a rocky start. My most recent encounter was an excellent encounter with a traveller who came to my home.

On the other hand, I have been in contact with four other men who I met when they were hired as escorts. I have spoken with them on the phone and enjoyed their uncompensated company over dinner and have gone to a few plays and other activities with them. One even dog sits for my brood. I have not hired any of these men lately, but I continue to speak with them and consider them, if not friends, then at least very friendly acquaintences.

I expect to hire 3 new lads this year and feel it is likely I will have about 15 total encounters with at least 2 repeaters. i expect to continue the now platonic relationships with 2 of the escorts and expect to hire the other 2 over the next few months.

For me it was a year of "Less is maybe better"

 

Started off with hiring 3 different guys in CHI (3-way with Brad Hunt and Romann, that was a high point; lengthy date with Dane Scott. All dates 2 hrs or more

 

Various "encounters" with HARRISON in NY, my go-to masseur for a serious 90 minutes.

 

A dream encounter with Jon Ramsey in the summer (2 hrs) and with a guy on my bucket list, Brian Curtis, who was a great date (2+ hrs)

 

And after a few hiccups in tries, had an amazing 2 hours with Gustavo Brazil in NYC (review submitted) who was a great way to close out the year.

 

I have to say, the encounters are less frequent, more selective of the guys chosen, and a careful study of bang for the buck.
