Got about 6 pairs of 501's that fit me nice and tight, but I haven't worn them in years and, after trying them on, I wonder how I ever sat or walked around in them.

At my age comfort is worth a lot more to me, and my upper body might not look so great against the tight jeans, plus the mildly-pained look on my face. Anybody else deal with this?

Should I ditch them? :)

Trade them to a young escort who is my size? :)

I'm even open to hearing silly suggestions.

A couple of suggestions:

1) Create the "Shrine to Fashion (non)Sense of the 19X0's" (where X represents the decade in which you purchased them)

2) Donate them to Goodwill

3) Sell them as "vintage" on eBay

4) Sell them as "My Hot Daddy Wore These Before He Fucked Me Western Reverse Cowboy Style" on naughtybids.com

Although a noble gesture, I find it funny you want to Donate them to young "escorts". Why not just donate them to young "guys" who may not be able to afford new jeans? Does your gesture have alterior motives like getting Free sex for the exchange ? LOL (just kidding)

I find that even at my age (60) I wear tight fitting jeans, but always make sure they have a bit of spandex in them for stretch (and comfort). Nothing worse than a "muffin top" in your jeans..

Or you can always turn the jeans into a nice "patchwork quilt"....a memorial to your youth....

Regardless of what you decide Friend, just DONT resort to Dockers with an elastic waist. Its so NOT sexy......

Well I am not ready yet to trade in my 501's for a pair of plaid pants that I pull up over my belly button almost to my nipples. No sir, not this cowboy, you can take that 'growing old gracefully' sh*t and shove it where the sun don't shine, I'm goin in to it kicking and screaming.........soooo here is a novel Idea, why don't you hit the gym, do a little tread mill and keep the 501's.

Keep two pairs just to give yourself a goal. They never go out of fashion. Ebay is great for selling them. If that's too complicated for you, give them to charity because jeans are always appreciated.

If you must, keep ONE pair, otherwise, move on and wear trousers/jeans that are more comfortable and more appropriate to your age---whatever that is. Donate the other pairs to some kind of charity---VOA, GoodWill, your local Roman Catholic church may have a bin for gently used clothes---there are many young men out there who need a pair of jeans.

You'll have more space in your closet for new clothes and help the economy a little bit with your new purchases.

Jeans are supposed to be tight. Hell, I am now down to a 31 to 32 waist form a 38 two years ago and I do have the start of a "two pack" in my upper abs. I have a box full of fat pants that i take out every now and then and I can put them on without unbuttoning or unzipping them. Keeps me active in the gym. And my sexy briefs love it.

Send your Fat pants to Rockhard.....

In the old Cold War days, I used to take my used jeans (I had a 30 waist then) to eastern Europe on vacation, and I gave them away to young guys who lusted after them, if not after me; they were impossibly expensive for kids behind the Iron Curtain, who regarded them as the ultimate sign of cool.

That thread was so long ago that some of the participants might now be wearing a very fashionable style of Depends.

I enjoyed all of the recommendations, but will take a serious moment to endorse the Goodwill donation suggestion. My father's career was with Goodwill, so I've learned much about the benefit of such donations. Other members have already indicated the benefit of providing a pair of affordable jeans to a fine young shopper. You will also provide benefits to the individuals in job training programs at the stores hoping to learn skills for employment at traditional retailers and the proceeds from the sale will help support other Goodwill programs in your local community.

This sounds like the most fun idea.

I thought that thread was long gone but, thanks to the search box, here it is. It was fun writing that poem, with AdamSmith wondering about trusses. Maybe it's time to update it to reflect current interests in where the most fashionable continence couture might be found. http://www.maleescortreview.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif
