I was emailing with Scott for possible contact on a recent trip to NOLA. Suddenly he stopped responding and I went on to other interests. You never know - maybe I said something which gave him the wrong signal; however, it wasn't courteous to suddenly fail to correspond without explanation. I found Scott to be very candid with regard to his "hsitory". He is a "LA Boy", for the better part of his young manhood he was "kept" by a relatively successful television actor turned entrepreneur who dispensed with him for a younger man. Although "in business" at LA, he is relatively "new" to "escorting", having been introduced to the industry by a roommate who is well-known in the profession. For the time being, he is "travelling", and, being that he does not possess a laptop, his email communication is carried out on a handset telephone which, I assume, might make for some difficulty in messaging. By my observation, his photographs are "current"; certainly, in his physical appearance, a some agency "lost out" on a good thing in not signing him to a contract a decade ago as he possesses a pefection of symmetry which is rare. In his conversation and public presentation, I would rate him "very good"; he has the mannerisms of a successful young man about town, not a career "rentboy". As to sexual intimacy, he is of the "as long as it feels good, anything goes" venue, and, he professes to be "bisexual"with which I, myself" have "no problem".

He used to advertise frequently with another escort as 2-for-1 special. I used to see his ads all the time on M4RN. It seems to me--that I wondered why they would be running such a special. I wondered if it might be a scam of some type. I thought he used to advertise as versatile--but maybe that was the other escort. There were 1 or 2 one-starred reviews I think on M4RN which made me a bit leery. I mean everyone knows the escorts can eliminate bad starred reviews on M4RN--so what does it mean if they can't even take the time to "police" their own ads.

By his representation, the "other" escort was the roommate, a man with whom I have an acquaintance, and, by my prior advisement, is a well-known LA "escort" of long standing. The "2-for-1 special" was a "dire financial need" circumstance for both of them, the roommate who, too, is "bi", having been involved in a disastrous boy-girl relationship at that time. Yes, "rentboys" do "pay for it" on occasion. Based upon information and belief, the "partnership" of the two has been dissolved with some acrimony.

The "kept" man (or woman) discharged for a younger partner. The smart "kept" person collects jewelry during their stay; think of The song "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" where she sings about her numerous "benefactors" and the jewelry reminders she has of those men(I do not have time to research the song but if I remember correctly, "jewelry" includes real estate, too.

The man was tossed without a "plug nickel' or employment, and, of course, without the perks of the "high life", he found himself more or less "friendless"; hence, his taking up the profession of "escorting". With the exception of Jaime Lee, the "East Coast Boy", who walked away from his "LTR" with adequate cash reserves to retire from the "business" and purchase his own home, I have yet to have the acquaintance of a "rentboy" who, in taking up a "LTR" with a mature man of means, heeded by advice to "feather your own nest" whilst you have your day in the sun.

I just have to say that I find that kind of behavior deplorable. After, what I assume was a fair amount of loyalty on the part of Scott, to discard such person like that for a younger boy, without at least helping to transition him into a somewhat life of lesser means, just doesn't sit well with me. Those of us who are older and find ourselves at this stage of our lives in a more secure financial situation, I think it unfair to lecture Mr. Scott on his lack of planning for the future. I certainly do not blame him. I blame the gentlemen (if you want to call him that) who decided that he no longer needed Mr. Scott. I for one hope that Scott finds himself on top one day. I have known friends who engaged in exactly the same way, and would discard these young on a whim. Needless to say, that kind of behavior has ended a few frienships.
