I am in complete agreement with you. In undertaking suchg a relationhip, there is, in my opinion, an obligation on the party to the relationship that is the "mature gentleman of means" to "do right" by the younger party who, usually, brings no material assets to the relationship. Regretfully, I have the acquaintance of any number of once young men who have been "tossed" by their "patrons" without benefit of parachute, and, I do "preach", if you will, to the "boys" of having some potable assets titled in their name to guarantee to them "food and board" in the event they are "cut loose" from such a relationship without warning. Suffice to state that my comment with regard to Scott's situation was not to lecture him on lack of "planning"; indeed, I am very sympathetic to his situation.

My comments where not directed at you Robber, but rather to a previous poster "bigJoey", whom in my estimation seemed to make light of Mr. Greys situation. I to have helped, best I can, more than a few young men in planning and advice for the future. Payment and gratuity to some of these guys far exceed what most would consider more than adequate. I don't care. At least I feel that, in some small way, I have helped to make there lives just a little better.

Sorry, I did not mean to make light of the situation. I only meant to point out that such relationships are not limited to gay relationships and the younger party should keep an eye out for their own future. I have helped many a young man to secure a better future mostly through helping with college expenses and the like. Everyone should think about the future and not just think of today.

It is not just being replaced by a younger person; suppose the "older",rich partner had died or lost his wealth due to bad investments. What then? In my office, there is an executive who makes well up into six figures but saves nothing including taking advantage of a generous 401(k) match; he is in his late 40's with no savings for retirement! That is crazy but about the same as the "young" man in the relationship at issue. Everyone owes it to themselves to keep one eye on the future.

My name was brought up in this post . I HIGHLY RECCOMEND SCOTT GREY to everyone. He is first class all the way and a hell of a nice guy. I was in nola last week and did not see his ads up. I also believe he is traveling alot. I was in touch with LOWRISE (EDDIE) who is nola's number one local escort and he told me that nola has been , "incredibly slow," lately. I moved away 3 months ago because of the CRIME and I truly feel that people are staying away because of it. Sadly, Nola is a dying city and despite my obvious love for her I must state the truth. http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1 p.s. my tour there was only marginally successful. Mostly my regulars. very few tourists and visitors even inquired. As a result I will no longer include NOLA on my touring schedule but I will of course fly in there to meet anyone by special request. have a great weekend everyone, Mikey

Has anyone seen him? Is he still in N.O.? I called and left a message but I never heard back. He sure is handsome with a nice body.

I have retained him in his "professional" capacity, and, he did not disappoint in any aspect of the "betweenst the sheets" experience. As you noted in your post, merely to contemplate his countenance affords pleasure; indeed, given the perfection of his symmetry, he could have had a career as a "real model". I had an email message from him at New Orleans in the course of the last week, Monday or Tuesday in my recollection: he is "travelling" and his communication, by telephone or www, is limited to a cell phone device, and, thereby, erratic at times.

I had a telephone conversation on Saturday with a rentboy-dancer of my acquaintance who was playing one of the New Orleans nightclubs over the weekend: Scott Grey's cell phone is lost or stolen, hence the breakdown in communication with him. I, too, have an email out to him which has gone with reply.

Because a city doesn't offer economic opportunity or wide-based support for male prostitutes doesn't mean it is dying. That's a pretty narrow point of view. As the new book, Resilience & Opportunity, from The Brookings Institution Press points out:

Hurricane Katrina was the costliest disaster in U.S. history and among the three costliest in the world ever. New Orleans and the Gulf Coast stand as a lesson about what it takes to rebuild after a major catastrophe.

"The Gulf Coast’s post-Katrina future is still unfolding. But New Orleans is teaching the world it knows how to turn disasters and desperation into hope and opportunity. It’s a comeback story not just for the disaster hall-of-fame but the annals of urban history."

Surprising early lessons from the Gulf:

1. Systemic reforms are possible in the wake of tragedy.

2. Engaged citizenry and new coalitions effectively called for an end to the status quo.

3. National-local partnerships helped make reforms possible.

Jackster..Well said! ;)

Not to go all "All About Eve" on you, but....

Poor Scott.... he seems like a lost lamb in our big stone jungle..... and to quote my dear friend and companion, Miss Birdie Coonan, "Everything but bloodhounds snapping at his rear end.."... (which I would gladly do...)

Sincerely hope that things get better for Mr. Grey.

I will try and do my part.

Okie

L O L... I was thinking the exact same thing!!! I was about to respond to BG and Jackster regarding NOLA, even typed the whole thing out, then I said 'wait a minute, how did we begin talking bout NOLA.'? I reviewed the posts and began laughing, you are Right!!! Poor Mr. Grey, somehow got left behind, AGAIN! Looks like he just can't catch a break. Soooooo I deleted my message and was about to move on, when you pop in with this. Thank you for putting Mr. Grey back in the Post where he belongs. I know Robber will greatly appreciate your thoughts and your patronage.

cannot reach scott grey now at all. tried to refer some former nola clients to him but no luck.....hey Jackster how are you man? Issue regarding nola dying is the violent crime. while I was in atl last week I heard about a 37 yo doctor was killed right in the quarter. conventions are cancelling and other than tourism the oil and gas industry is the only source of good jobs. My analysis was not based on my income there but upon my PYSICAL safety there. yall have a great day. Mikey

From the pictures, I can assure you that he is the best looking offer in New Orleans in many a day. He looks flat-out HOT! Please guys: a review. A side note: his area code is California but perhaps he just moved to Louisiana and still has his old phone service.

Mikey My assesment of NOLA is the same. I got into a rather heated exchange once over the condition and state of affairs in Mexico City, so once I say this let it be known that I have no intention of doing another one of those back and forth angry posts. That being said, I have several friends who live in NOLA and they concur with what Mikey is saying. They tell me that crime is quite bad and the devastation and remnants from Kat is unlike anything you could possibly imagine. These are there words not mine. The city and gulf coast went through somewhat of a brain drain after Kat and many simply have not come back. They have given up and are moving out of what they call a dying city....and just to stay on subject here, I want to give a shout out to Mr. Grey...Mr Grey if you are listening, we love you and wish you well.

Could be the guy just "Retired" from "Working It" and Moved On to other things..It does happen... ;)

It is a Curse to have another one of my "Preminitions" around here come True! Someone started another thread stating this guy has Retired!

BUT as we all know that doesn't always mean "never say never" again! Some do return for the very nice Fianancial Rewards from Time to Time...;)

Jackster a couple of points. the stats that you post are for violent crime not theft and robbery and the petty kind that harasses residents daily. Stats are wonderful, but fall far short of painting an accurate picture of what really happens there. Friends who actually live there tell a very different story. NOLA long before KAT, was notorious for its crime, not only crime but scandal within the police dept itself for racial tension with local residents. I was pulled from the streets just 2 blocks from Bourbon St. going toward the river at 8pm one Saturday nite once and driven by the police back to my hotel. Bourbon St was packed with tourist and I thought a few hundred yard, how unsafe could this really be. There comment to me was one of surprise that I had not been robbed yet. they said "Sir you just can't be down here, you have no idea how dangerous this is." To post some stats and then elude to the fact that somehow NOLA is fairly safe is just incorrect. Again this is just my experience and information related to me by friends who live there when I told them that NOLA was on my short list as possible places to settle. Hope this will help clarify my comments. Best to always, BVB

The police "done good" by you as their advisement was prudent. The old "Bayou Bar" of the Pontchartrain Hotel on St. Charles is a quiet venue for a pleasant, unhurried "first encounter"; regretfully, the hotel, my accomodation of choice at New Orleans, is now in "adaptive use" as an upscale assisted living establishment, and, the once celebrated inhouse restaurant, The Carribean Room, is no longer a "destination". After cocktails, one can move on to one of the neighborhood restaurants for for a pleasant, unhurried dinner before "getting down to business". Clancy's, too, is, in my opinion, a good "Uptown" choice for a cheery, informal setting to "set the mood".
