btw - I see this same practice by other escorts of posting a travel city without dates pretty frequently, and half of the time, I don't get a response when I try to confirm if they really plan to visit.

I have an unbiased opinion of Benjamin, have never met him and truthfully don't know much about him. But I think the original poster's question is very relevant and shouldn't be dismissed: Why would he (or any other escort) promote they will be traveling to a particular city but NOT provide prospective clients with the dates they will be there? It naturally causes readers to conclude the escort is fishing for biz...or that something about him may be fishy.

Im sure one of you has his email, number etc.... can someone just text BN (I do not know him or I would at this point. and ask him to log in and contact flguy. This way he can get the information in case m4 or spam or whatever is causing a problem. In return... FLguy why not report back in a few days to tell us how wonderful the contact was ... seems thats easy, fair and what should happen. Right?

Have you tried bypassing M4RN contact method and send an email directly to him at his contact email? I have found him to respond this way quite reliably, although it may take a while.

 

Many, perhaps most, escorts on M4RN appear to have visiting/traveling cities listed, some with dates but it seems to me most don't. Some of the cities are relatively close to their home and others are far away. So there is alot of variety on how it is used but it seems to be a common practice. I think the reasons/intent of the escorts listing these cities varies and speculate that some may be fishing while others visit on occassion or are interested in going there at some point.

 

Ultimately, regardless of how they are using it, if the escort is on a site and lists a city but isn't responding to inquiries, it does seem like a poor business practice.

The one and only thing I like about M4rn is that it offers "travel cities dates"

and "cities your willing to travel to" that is how it is presented to the escort that's placing the ad.

Another thought is that his M4RN membership expired and he is no longer receiving emails. Unlike Rentboy who takes down your ad when it expires, M4RN keeps your profile up to make it look like they have more escorts advertising than they actually do. The first clue is that there is no phone number which they remove as soon as your ad expires. This has happened to me before. I have addressed the issue with M4RN saying that it's bad business for both potential clients and escorts, but they could really pretend to care less.
