i will post mine for yesterday

1) I am thankful for the friends, both new and old, who were able to join me for the weekend in Montreal....

2) I am thankful to be able to make occasional trips to places such as Montreal,

3) I am thankful that, despite what some other posters might think, Montreal still exists and is still a fun diversion to life in the US..

Not necessarily the three way you might have been looking for - But nonetheless, the one which means the most to me. :)

now that is what i was hoping for.. someone to take my post seriously..After talking with my friend, he convinced how good it is to take a minute every day and reflect..Even on "bad days", we can find three things to be thankful for.. It helps take your mind off the bad stuff..

MY four legged child who reminds what it is like to play. My family, both those we were born with and those we choose, as both teach us and say a lot about who we are and where we have come. My life, lived, partly in a way that had been lost to me, but was found thanks to AndrewD.

Today's thanks are: (1) living in such a beautiful place; (2) having so many good friends who really care about me; (3) my family who is always there to lend assistance when I need it most! I am blessed.

Ok today

1 that I still enjoy weeding my garden its cathartic especially with good dance music playing in the background and my puppy getting in the way

2 my daughter who made me laugh by walking up to a fireman and saying "I like your costume it makes you handsome " she has good taste woof.

3 two friends one who puts up with my drama. And one who shared his fears for his son going out into a very real and dangerous world in the military. It makes you remember how much crap we sweat over is just. ..well. .. crap

1. My gorgeous new condo, which I've been settling into nicely since Thurs.

2. That I haven't lost cellphone reception today; unlike yesterday when it cost me $300.

3. As always, my home and native land, which has been good to me since I returned to it.

At first I was not going to write anything at this thread, but after I read what others wrote-- I thought I'd give it a zing!

Three things for which I am thankful are:

• my dear mother who turns "nine decades old" on the 25th of May 2010 -:)

• my friends both near and far -:)

• my being able and fortunate to travel domestically as well as internationally -:)

3 things...

a thousand scandinavian lutherans singing tryggare kan ingen vara, a cappella, in parts.

fireflies.

going to a movie with my friend john when he’s high—“wow,” he’ll say, extending the ah as long as possible, eyes wide and expectant. and then, pentameter: “I can’t believe we’re going to see a mooooo-vie.” pot makes the poet.
