Ridiculous hypocrisy! Maybe the good professor will start some new sort of "coalition" with Ted Haggard, Mark Foley, Robert Allen, Larry Craig, Ed Schrock and Roy Ashburn. Some sort of "Hate Gays, Love Men" group.

I don't ming that his man is being called out as a self-loathing, lying hypocrite, for he is that. But really, crticizing the man's combover is just cruel. Why can't we all just learn that it is hair today and gone tomorrow for all of us? If you were going to criticize his looks, the moustache, the bad dye job and the bushy eyebrows are certainly fair game, but what is a man to do with this particular head of hair? Be fair.

shirtless bears and desperate ex-models

 

I guess this paper thought that it was relevant (or rather ironic?) to note that the picture of the two was taken with a hot-pink camera.

 

I didn't like the reference to the shirtless bears and desperate ex-models. I don't care if they make fun of the models, but don't you dare impugn those shirtless bears. They are a beautiful breed upon themselves and I, for one, love a shirtless bear almost as I love a cowboy.

 

Perhaps the recent surgery he referred to in the article was a frontal lobotomy. Oh wait, think he had that one decades ago.

What a mess. That really is quite an expose though. I wonder a bit about the escort actually talking to the press. Doesn't seem especially discreet, especially since he doesn't seem to have any animosity towards this guy. Did he turn over the emails too? Seems like he must have.

 

I have to say I have never heard of this guy before but if he really is a bigwig in this movement for sure he needs to be exposed.

"MISLEADING INTERNET REPORTS ABOUT PROFESSOR GEORGE REKERS A recent article in an alternative newspaper cleverly gave false impressions of inappropriate behavior because of its misleading innuendo, incorrectly implying that Professor George Rekers used the Rentboy website to hire a prostitute to accompany him on a recent trip. Contrary to Internet stories based on this slanderous article, following medical advice Professor George Rekers requires an assistant to lift his luggage in his travels because of an ongoing condition following surgery. His family, local friends, and even another university professor colleague have offered to accompany him on trips to assist him in his travel. Dr. Rekers found his recent travel assistant by interviewing acquaintances. There was nothing inappropriate with this relationship. Professor Rekers was not involved in any illegal or sexual behavior with his travel assistant."

It's officially now being reported in the mainstream news

 

CNN anchor Rick Sanchez (who I really don't care for) just broke this story moments ago on his program with photos of the sinner, Geo the "male prostitute", the Rentboy website homepage on the CNN BIG screen and all the lame excuses and back story that has already been reported in the papers so far.

 

It was amusing however, hearing Sanchez say..."Rentboy DOT COM" ..he repeated it twice in an exaggerated and boisterous manner, while telling the story of how the sinner met the prostitute.. Hehehe.

The poor escort though has his face plastered all over and it was revealed that he is Puerto Rican. Not a great way for his friends and family to find out if they already did not know.

 

But this is the lamest excuse. He hired someone from rentboy to carry baggage? I am not sure how stupid can one be to be so publicly anti gay and then in private sleep with men-his mind must be one big mess.

 

I myself have been closeted for a long while. But never felt the need to bash gays-far from it I always felt bad when someone said something bad and I didn't have the guts to stand up to them on this issue. This is just a whole another level.
