Update

 

Howdy gang,

 

Thanks so very much for the good wishes.

 

With all my travels, I finally saw The Fox in the flesh safe at home yesterday. WOW!!! What a difference!!!

 

Pre-op, he was moving around in super slow-mo... looking very Casper the Friendly...

 

We told him while he was under that he needed to NOT walk toward the light and DO NOT listen to anyone unless he heard the words, "Wake your ass up!"

 

Post-op, he was a house on fire. Honestly, I've never seen him look better. Amazing skin tone/color...lost a few lbs...fired up and ready to get out and get active. It was the like he drank from the fountain of youth and reversed 10-15 years.

 

(Maybe I need me some of this bypass cosmetic surgery<eg>)

 

Surprisingly, he is heeding the doctor's diet advice...Healthy Choice meals, soy milk

and fresh veggies. I think the hospital's cardiac food classes taught him excellent lessons on meal choices.

 

I'll be his companion for the big(fingers crossed) dr's release appointment in a couple of weeks. He cannot wait to get back behind the wheel and get back to the boys!!
