There have been a number of times when I decided not to publicly

post negative comments about favorites on this site because of

potential backlash. I'll be somewhat specific: Premier in Philadelphia and a very, very popular escort in New York. The

backlash would come from Premier (an agency that I use a lot) and fans of the escort and, perhaps the escort himself, since he posts regularly on this site. I have no problem reponding to the escort's fans on a client only site. I understand that many people will think I'm making this suggestion in jest and they would be right to a small degree. But, I can't believe that I am the only person who was concerned about taking on a very popular escort agency or escort directly. To prove my point: I am concerned even now about posting the comments, so it is impossible to really judge where I am coming from.

Just how do you propose to control admittance, i.e exclude escorts? Anyone can register on this site as a client. Would this Client-Only Forum be by invitation only, as is admittance to the E-Forum. ALso, what credentials for a client would you envision? A public website with contact info, vague stats, and rates paid? An 'Escort Wanted' add in NEXT or Frontiers? Other? I'm curious how this would work?

BTW, how long do you think it would take for your adverse comment to get back to the subject of your post? I wouldn't consider anything to be held in confidence in such a forum. Your only practical way to avoid potential retribution would be to post under an unknown screen name (which would make it look like a first time poster with thus little credibility). And the most likely route to your recognition by the escort would be found in your description of the events leading to your dissatisfaction; and no such description would, of course, lead to a loss of credibility too.

 

Seems like an impossible forum to establish with little chance of success for meeting your goal. Maybe someone else has answers for the question raised as well as many others not yet raised.

I don't know what you're concerned about.....if the comments happen to be true....then post away.

 

I am a believer that you actually CAN post negative comments in a polite manner.....it's when you get down and nasty that it gets ugly on here...unfortunately it seems to be the latter that seems to win out.

 

Besides...this client only/escort only posting sections wouldn't be very private I surmise....someone is always willing to spill the beans...just human nature I guess.

This is free site that already provides more services than most pay sites. Doesn't HooBoy already have his hands full with what is already being offered?

 

Why in the world should we expect him to provide this additional service that would be nearly impossible to monitor and control?!?!

I've been lurking here long enough to believe that you are not prone to dramatics, but I am having trouble imagining what kind of retribution you are concerned about. I've never dealt with Premier, and they do seem to have a large number of guys, but are they such a force in Philadelphia, and so successful, that they could afford to blackball you? If you didn't have a good time with the New York escort, are you really concerned about how he will react?

 

I can understand the concern about being flamed by a popular escort's supporters, but as with most things in life, it's all in the way it is presented. A balanced report, acknowledging that others have had a good experience, might deflect some of it.

 

I guess "might" is the operative word. My first thought was "it couldn't have been Rick Munroe" and this is a man that I have never met, but just think very highly of because of his reviews and his nasty charm here at the message center. (I'm not guessing that it is Rick you were talking about, and I don't want to drag him into this -- he is just an example of an escort that I would find it hard to believe something bad about. Well, maybe something very bad and very fun.) ;-)

 

I've only been hiring escorts for the last couple of years, so maybe others have experience with agency or escort backlash that they could share.

Too much is being made of this Escort's Only section. As it is, the only one's who are allowed in there are the ones who have Unmoderated priveleges here. Which means THEY ARE TRUSTED. They have passed muster due to longtime contributions to this Message Center.

 

In a few days, it will open up to more, however those will be TOTALLY MODERATED by only myself and Daddy-In-Training. Their posts will be reviewed before being posted.

 

There are only two things that I think should be of any concern and they are:

 

1. Clients that are no-shows.

2. Clients that are dangerous (and that does NOT include a client who writes a negative review. I'm talking Jeffrey Dahmer here, folks.)

 

If you are neither of those, then you have nothing to worry about.

 

Let the boys have their own water cooler. If they get out of line or try to post something of a sensitive nature that goes against the guidelines of this site, they will be booted out forever.

Yes, my post was at least somewhat tough in cheek (pardon the pun). I was not referring to Rick, he's a real pussy cat anyway. But, I know I would be pushing up daisies if I crossed him (yeah, right) As to Premier, I believe Michael crossed a line by asking me personal questions about an escort whom I had gotten friendly with. The escort had been calling in sick. After

thinking about this more, I should take up the matter with either Michael or his boss, Nick directly. As far as the Escort Only Lounge, It's fine with me. A good nights sleep does wonders for your insight; I was really tired last night with a cold with I made the first posting on this subject.

Some time ago, I was flamed for suggesting an escorts-only type site as outlined by hooboy -- a place where escorts can feel free to comment on bad clients and also comment on good clients. I don't fear such a board -- particularly if Hooboy notifies the client when he is commented upon and if Hooboy gives the client an opportunity to respond. If you add this safeguard to monitoring, I don't see a problem.

And as for a clients-only section, I see no need for it or any practical way to make it work. If I post something, I don't care who sees it. Sometime ago, I made a post on a thread about a florida escort (escortelite or elitescort) who was visiting the city where I live. There were some rather emotional responses impugning my integrity. That's fine. What I said was accurate and the truth. Other posts reaffirmed the accuracy of my post. And the open give and take helped answer the concern of the originator of the thread. As a general rule, I think openess is good.

Well Wet,

 

You and everyone else have always had a leg up on me. Why is it that Rick and the rest of you are always accusing me of trying to put a square peg in a circle hole. At least I get support from my BF who wakes me up each morning and tells me to go out and break a leg.

Talk about caning a dead horse, how lame, to fall back on such prosthetic humour as a crutch. Pegleg jokes are hallow and wooden. This invalid, and lopsided behaviour is for gimps and must be amputated at once. Hop to it.
