I was wondering if anyone noticed if it makes a difference in the "service" you get when hiring an escort if you mention this site or mention you found the escort on this site?

 

I am sure a bad review doesn't exactly kill business for the escort, however, it might harm them a bit??? I have had both good and bad experiences with escorts, but I must say I have not ever had a bad experience with an escort I found on this site, of course I only called ones that I felt were honestly reviewed positively on this site. And when I asked specifically I have been given awesome recommendations from this site, case in point was my BEST escort experience Alec in Orlando!

I think it is gauche to mention this site before hand. Seems like dangling the sword of Damacles over the escort's head whether intended or not. I mention the site after and only if I enjoyed the appointment and consider submitting a review. For positive experiences I always inquire if the escort would mind a review. Some prefer to avoid the notoriety.

I am with Tampa on this one. I think a mention about the site is good after the experience. That way, you truly do get an unbiased and untainted experience. I do know that there are boys that often know guys by their handle on the site and they are better with the client because they are hoping for a review. I normally never tell anyone in advance about the site but will talk about it afterwards and ask if they want a review.

I also follow this same line of thinking. I mention this site after the experience, usually in a follow up email to the escort. I have had some inquire if I will be posting a review, and some, like Tampa has pointed out, have asked not to have one posted.

I am upset that TY, whom I have always admired, considers my behavior gauche. I always tell an escort if I have found him through this site, so he knows what I have already heard about him, and so he can check my previous reviews if he wants to know more about me. I always like it better if a client mentions this site. And the guys that use this site usually sound much better than the scary,deep breathing, can you come over now calls.

When I started escorting I posted myself on just a few sites, 5 tops...

My first few calls trickled in until a client mentioned this site and asked if I'd like a review posted. I agreed and noticed an immediate boom in client inquiries. Over the years my ads on those first 5 sites have been pirated and listed on an untold number of pages, so I'm always quick to ask a caller where he found me. If he mentions anything other than this site, I immediately refer him here.

I find that this site generates a higher quality client that has a much better idea of what he's getting, or if I'm what he's looking for. As far as this site hurting business, I can say in my experience, this site has MADE me. I never worked hard to advertise myself, other than making sure I had good reviews. And when I did get my negative review, ouch, did I feel it, and worked extra hard to minimize it.

I always inform guys that I review Escorts on this site. Frankly, I want them to provide top notch service since they want to charge top notch prices. When I tell Escort about this site and my reviews, they always step up to the plate.

 

Many will ask what my handle is and I tell them so they can read what I have written. Once they see how fair I am with my reviews, they are much more comfortable.

 

I find that telling them in advance weeds out the ones who plan to rush you, ignore your needs or requests or who might otherwise scam or rob you in one way or another. I have had a few guys back out as soon as they knew I did reviews. Hooboy has prooven to be a better exterminator than the Orkin Man.:+

Tampa, I always start my email with a prospective escort by telling his that I read his great reviews on this site.

 

It establishes where I am coming from, what I expect (what happened in the reviews), and what will happen if it isn't a good experience.

 

The poster who says that by not mentioning this site you get an honest experience is inviting a less-than-top-notch session. If the escort knows that he is probably going to be reviewed, he is going to give his all.

 

Also, I have found that my positive reviews have lead to good relations with the escorts on successive appointments.

Thank you very much for your contributions here. You know, I wish Hooboy would include a place for Escorts to rate clients. You are right about the fact that there are some good clients and bad ones. Maybe we should allow Escorts to rate their client.

 

I do know that if an Escort is comfortable with me doing a review it is only because he is planning on giving quality service. That is the beauty of this site. I am glad to see that the reverse is true to.

An escort who's now found god and retired knew I'd found him through the site. He was also high as a kite, kept running to the bathroom for another hit (though I didn't know that was why at the time, I still think I'm naive, but wow, when I look back...).

 

Needless to say, the session wasn't much fun. Amazingly, he begged me from before the session even began to write a review.

 

But since he was very active on the MC and making his entire living off this, I didn't post a review. I hoped he just had a bad day and it seemed pointless to start a war. But I did tell my local friends, at least one or two would've probably hired him if my experience had been better.

 

So even if the escort does know you're active on this site it may not change anything. The ones I've hired through the site have known I at least visit it, because in my experience they usually ask how you found out about them. Promising/threatening a review seems tacky as hell though.

 

I have (after the fact) mentioned the site (or even shown it to) a couple of good Craig's List finds, trying to help them move up in the world. I don't think it's yet worked out as well as I'd hoped. They tend to be pretty transient on CL, and they disappear after a couple months. One, who I originally met on SMB, seems to me like he could make a fortune here and has no other firm ways of making money. But he seems to prefer being a victim of a string of 'sugar daddies' who never seem to leave him better off, and had me request his review be taken down because one of them had seen it and threatened to pass it on to his family. Ah well, if he ever gets serious I'll try again.

In theory, this would be a fair thing to do.

 

In practice, it would require suspension of Hooboy's very prudent rule of not allowing personal info (like unpublished phone numbers and email addresses) to be posted on this site.

 

And if you then decided to limit client review to only the very small percentage of John's who actually have a screen name on this site... well then you would have only a very small percentage of Johns. Not to mention that the day Marc Anthony got a bad review from the escort, he would tell the next escort he is Cleopatra.

 

Finally, I am not sure it would be in an escort's best interest to participate in such a review process. Even if everything that he wrote was the absolute truth, there would be this document out there of an escort criticizing a client on a website. And if Hooboy does the goose and gander thing and let's the client have the last say in this review process.... there would be some rebuttal saying "he was not what his pictures were, he had poor hygeine, and he wasn't clean when I tried to fuck him." Neither thing good for the escort or his business.

 

Bottom line... in an ideal world, good idea. But in an ideal world, all clients and escorts would be good to each other too.

I am a great fan of this site and have used the Escort Reviews posted here as the source for almost all my new escort contacts. When an escort has a long string of very positive reviews here (barring an occasional unhappy client), I personally find it very reassuring. In about a year and a half of using this site, I have been disappointed only once.

 

For that reason I see no reason not to let the escort know how I came about contacting him. In fact, I usually begin our conversation by complimenting him on his excellent reviews here. I have also posted my own reviews on this website in order both to share my experiences with others and also as a way of thanking the escort for the wonderful time I had with him. Hey Spida;

I have been following with a lot of interest this subject and all the answers that you have received until now. It's always fun to see how we all think and feel differently about the same thing.

 

Personally, I try to treat all my clients equally; wether it is a one hour incall, an over night or a week-long commitment in Paris, I think it is just fair to give "today's" client all my attention and focus on his needs as if the world depended on it.

 

Even if I have been very lucky and until now I only have been having great experiences with clients, I must say that all of them have been VERY different.

Some of the guys approaching me after having read the reviews are easy, know how to deal with the session in a graceful way, and are what I could call "Professional" clients: no fuzz about little details, relaxed, flexible with time, now ackwardness, etc.

However, I have also had very funny experiences with regulars of this site: the one that sticks out in my mind, was a very inquisitive guy on the phone, e-mails and all the communication before our meeting. (He almost asked my grandmother's maiden name!) When I got to his place after a loooong process of negotiation and reassuring him that he had no compromise, and nothing could go wrong, I saw on his night table a printed copy of all my reviews ostensibly displayed for me. We had a great session, and in the end, I felt confident enough to ask him what was that doing there. He blushed, and answered:

"I was going to make sure that you would do everything that I wanted you to do. If you didn't kiss me, I would show you how you kissed other clients..." (And so on). Nedless to say, he didn't have to use his "weapon" during the session.

 

In the other hand, unexperienced "new" clients, can be both refreshing, fun and flexible, as well as odd, ackward and difficult to deal with.

 

I love this site as a reliable source of information about escorts AND clients. And specially, I think that its main achievement, is educate and create standards both for escorts and clients for the bettering of our profession and service.

I always tell the escort where I found his name, phone number/email address, etc. the first time I contact him. After all, for all he knows I could have found this information on some john wall written in purple lipstick. I have never thought about whether or not it would influence his performance. I have done it mainly to put him at ease that I am legit and probably not lilly law or a nut case.

 

Fortunately, I have not had a bad escort experience. Some were better than others (and I reviewed most of those) but none were major disappointments. After a good session which I want to review, I ask the escort if he minds my writing a review (none have). I also ask him if there is anything we did together that he doesn't want to be in the review. One didn't want me saying I had fingered his butt (why I don't know because he loved it).

 

As for rating clients, I wouldn't mind being reviewed (I think I'm a really nice guy.) but I'm not sure it's practical. I am probably in the minority and most clients would not want contact information appearing on the web along with the fact that they like getting fucked while eating bonbons and swinging from the chandelier.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, Juan I have to say I almost understand the client you were speaking about. I have had a few bad experiences. I am an okay looking guy, but I am not really all that pushy or forward, therefore I think some bad escorts think they can take advantage and just do the minimum! I am not that nice though I told the escorts on the two really bad experiences what I thought and was so appalled by one escort I even asked for some of the money back! I know a bit forward but I was upset! Until I get upset though I am very nice, and fairly timid!

 

I like different escorts, therefore I dont hire the same escort over and over, and run into some that aren't up to par. But everyone (with the exception of one, that no longer escorts) that I have found on this site and mentioned the site has been great.

 

I really hope that someday I can get to Vancouver or if you ever travel to Boston! Juan Your pics are very hot!!!
