Just curious - I live in Vancouver, which is in the same time zone as Los Angeles. I am reading the above message at 11:45 p.m. Monday December 30th. So........ how can his message be dated Tuesday December 31st? It's no big deal, but I must admit it does puzzle me.

The board for some reason now is on Greenwich Mean Time-London Time-so while it was 11PM Monday on the west coast it was the next morning in London.

As to why no outcalls in LA, I've never had a problem, but the answer may be in where you are located. LA is huge and traffic can be an issue even fairly late. If you're booking at the last minute, and they have a prior engagement set up before or after, they may be reluctant to go far. I usually set up my LA meetings the week prior, and make my weekend hotel convenient to WeHo, usually the epicenter for escorting in LA.

I'm from London and my PC is 8 hours ahead of LA time so I'm sure the time/date stamp is related to my PC clock which is still on London time.

The last upgrade to the board gave the user the ability to set their time zone and it defaults to GMT. I assume your post gets stamped with whatever time zone you have set.

 

I’ve only hired in LA four or five times, but I’ve never had a problem with them doing outcalls. (I really don’t like going to someone’s home so it is a deal breaker for me.) I only go to LA on business so I usually contact them a few days ahead of time and then finalize the time once I get there and my business is concluded. I always make sure they know I will be staying near LAX to see if it will be a problem, but it hasn’t been so far.

 

Are you staying in the hinterlands? It really can be a schlep if you’re on the other side of LA.

I will be traveling to LA for the first time in Feb. and hope I don't have the same problem. I only hire escorts that will come to my Hotel.

I will try to make contacts a couple of weeks before I arrive, so hopefully that will help me set a couple of dates for my stay.

Los Angeles is geographically very expansive. I,and a number of other escorts I know, will do out calls. However, I will only travel so far, unless I have established a rapport with the client. There are a number of escorts here (Brad Rudolph, for example) who prefer to see a client for an IN call first. Safety, legal issues, and common sense dictate this.

 

As was discussed in ASK THE ESCORTS recently, on the thread about being stood up by a "no show" client, an escort could easily travel to an address 25 miles away which does not exist, or for a client who has changed his mind, or which could otherwise occassion a problem for the escort.

 

It really depends on where you are in Los Angeles, when you want to meet and whom you are contacting.

 

As for atttitude, personally, I think that also reflects on whom you are contacting and could be similarly found in other areas. There are good and bad people in all sorts of professions all over the country.

I was just there for several days and had no problem getting outcalls--this time I needed in calls and that was cool too. I've never noticed any different attitude in LA compared to anywhere else actually--I have noticed big differences in attitude in escorts and try to eliminate the bad 'tude via the email and IM process and the telephone--by arranging early I usually can book the escort I would like -- I also find out ahead of time whether he's closer and more convenient to LAX or Burbank -- I can go to either and stay at either--many times close proximity makes the difference between an in and out call. Just some thoughts.

As you might tell from my handle I live in Pasadena,15 min's from downtown LA,25-30 from WEHO.Getting boys to come to me is a hassle.They all want to tack on$50-$100 to their fee for travel time and I refuse this silliness.I can make it back home to my place from Hollywood faster than I can get to some westwood or Bel Air adresses.

I live in LA and haven't had any trouble getting out-calls or in-calls over the four years I've been hiring (I live within 30 min. of WEHO) -- although email responses can be slow with some of the guys. Currently, I can recommend both Justin #2 and Scott Adler -- both do out-calls (Justin also does in-calls), are very good looking, young/smooth/toned, extremely versatile, very affectionate/passionate and have no attitude -- but lots of great personality. EXPAT you probably hit a few escorts on a bad day or just a few bad seeds . I don't agree with those who mention geography as a problem. If you live in LA then you assume anywhere you need to drive will take an hour or more. it's part of our way of life .

 

I do agree that many escorts in LA tend to have more attitude than escorts I've seen in other cities.

 

If you're still in town try Brian (OC), Tony Prince or Cesar. They do outcalls and are both very versatile.
