I'm from Venezuela and we do use the metric system ha. What I'll say is, I've met and know a lot of the Venezuelan providers on RM and would stay away from about 90% of them. In fact, some of the ones I would recommend post they're from Colombia or Brazil.

I’ve had disappointing experiences with several Venezuelan providers as well, to the point that when I know someone is from Venezuela I usually don’t reach out anymore. I’ve sometimes wondered if that might be an overreaction on my part or a cultural thing, but hearing that you, as a Venezuelan, have had similar experiences makes me feel a bit more comfortable with the conclusion I came to based on my own experience.

The majority of my people don't take it as a job or business where you have to be professional so they care little if they scam you or fuck you over because there'll be plenty of others. I do know one in NY (that advertises as Colombian) and one in LA (that says they're Latino but not Venezuelan) that do take it seriously and are good, but I would AVOID any Venezuelan twink/twunk like guy.

Sounds like you got a chorus of great advice and support. I know you dodged a bullet.

When I was in my late 20's, I had this thing for skinny, younger, masculine twinks, barely out of high school, but definitely over 18. I remember the feeling in the groin when someone fit the ideal, and the mind unveiled a fantasy like no other. Back in the day, a popular place to find someone was in and around seedy 42nd street. Boy do I have stories.

When I think of those stories today, I question my sanity. I could have easily been killed, or at least stabbed, many times. The mind at 19 is just way too unstable, especially for sex work. Today's 19 seems nothing like 19 of the 70's. Today's young bitches don't even pretend to know how to act. There may be a few good apples out there, but you shouldn't kid yourself. Playing with fire will more than likely get you burned.

Note - if you use Zelle, the payee sees your real name. Use Venmo.or CashApp where you can use a handle . Gen Z is pretty internet and AI savvy . With a name they can easily access your life history with addresses and all in a minute. Watch out.

A 2025 study identified that around age 32, the brain undergoes the most significant architectural changes in neural wiring, signifying the start of true adult, matured, and, stable brain functioning. It was long believed that 25 was the cutoff for brain maturation, but scientists now consider that too young, as the brain continues to change, refine and adapt well past that age. The NIH says that, while the brain's physical size stops growing early, the prefrontal cortex—responsible for complex planning, risk management, and decision-making—undergoes significant, long-term development throughout the twenties. Fucking improves. Hence the phrase “young, dumb and full of cum.”

Also, my prefrontal cortex is telling me this thread should be moved out of Deli and into Questions About Hiring.

Darling, you’ve probably just dodged a bullet. I understand the disappointment; it’s happened to many of us. Consider yourself lucky. Give yourself a day or two and then start planning your next encounter. Thank you, also, for telling the community about your experience.

100%!!!!!

So I had really been looking forward to meeting with Jesusguevara for quite some time. We had a quick facetime chat and he seemed very nice and real, plus he is a perfect match for my fantasies.  We made a date to meet tonight - I said I'd send an uber at 7:30. When I texted him, he asked if I could zelle him $35 to pay his friend who is an uber driver whom he said he wanted to help out. I was reluctant but agreed. He gave me the friend's name and cell #, (after raising the price to $50), and it came up as unregistered on Zelle. When I told him that, he then sent me another phone number with another name. At this point I said I'm sorry this doesn't work for me - let me just send you an uber. He wote, "you're a complete waste of time", then said, ok send me an uber in a few minutes. I wrote him, how can I invite you to my house, you just insulted me. He said, ok, I don't want to meet either now. I guess I did the right thing but boy am I disappointed ... he seemed so nice when we first met ... any feedback? Curious what others think.

I feel like you were very patient. Him asking you to pay a friend to uber him is suspect - sounds like a scammy way to extract more money.

Here’s the thing about meeting strangers on the internet - people are freaking weird. Some just happen to be attractive. Thus, they probably get away with a lot more than they normally could.
