+ PhileasFogg Posted Saturday at 02:43 PM Posted Saturday at 02:43 PM (edited) Sooo, wanna have fun? send him back a response that says “ I don’t appreciate your fraudulent attempt to get $815 from me. I know you used AI to manipulate the notice to look real, but it didn’t work since I don’t use PayPal. I’ve printed all the documentation and filed a report with the FBI Cyber Crime unit since I’m sure they’ll find this case easy to prosecute.” let’s see him squirm…post his response for us to see And yes, FBI Cybrr Crime complaints can be filed online Edited Saturday at 02:44 PM by PhileasFogg MassageCommunityMember, + SidewaysDM, dcguy20 and 1 other 4
Pierofj Posted Saturday at 10:18 PM Author Posted Saturday at 10:18 PM Hey I didn’t think about that but your right AI could be used to mess with screen shots. This really freaked me out thanks for the advice everybody! Whippoorwill, + SidewaysDM and MassageCommunityMember 2 1
+ nycman Posted Saturday at 11:39 PM Posted Saturday at 11:39 PM If you (like me) never use PayPal. Just ignore it and move on. Yet another reason why cash is king. + Vegas_Millennial, + SidewaysDM, thomas and 1 other 2 2
+ purplekow Posted yesterday at 12:08 AM Posted yesterday at 12:08 AM I am old school. I always use cash, except in the rare exception that the escort accepts S&H Green Stamps. I still have quite a few books filled with them. Was the fee for the service $815? Seems to be an odd amount which further adds to the fraudulent nature of this whole situation. thomas, + Vegas_Millennial, MassageCommunityMember and 2 others 1 1 1 2
+ Gar1eth Posted yesterday at 12:43 AM Posted yesterday at 12:43 AM I don't understand the worry except of course it's upsetting to be accused of something you didn't do. I can't imagine there's anyway he can act on it to try to get the $815 from you. I might be more worried that he has your picture on his porch camera. But on the other hand, he probably has the pictures of "non clients" too. Assuming it's actually him, his response isn't that conciliatory. He didn't offer an apology for accusing you. Personally I'd block him, lose the phone number, and find some friendlier providers. + SidewaysDM 1

arnie Posted yesterday at 08:58 AM Posted yesterday at 08:58 AM Was the amount paid for the encounter $815? That seems like a very unusual "consultation fee". I often get scams involving firms that I don't have accounts with, or PayPal which I have but never use.
