Walt Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 What happened to Jace Starr post: https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/154943-jacestarr-from-ft-lauderdale-and-visiting-atlanta/page/2/#comment-2485185
jusmeinbr Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 More than likely the OP deleted it. The likely reason is that he did not like the direction the post took. In 11 years on this forum, I have only done that one time, and that occurred in May of this year. Fortunately, the OP does not have to ask the moderators to step in when he originated the post. He can take mattters into his own hands by simply deleting the entirety of the post. That is a very valuable feature of this forum and, being candid, I would be much less inclined to post anything if that option did not exist. + Pensant, Dolman, + azdr0710 and 6 others 8 1
+ purplekow Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 Could it be that Jace Starr did not like the direction it took as my interaction with him might suggest that could be the case.
MarkBottom2025 Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 (edited) I agree that is a nice feature! Edited December 28, 2025 by MarkBottom2025
buckguy Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 There were multiple negative experiences expressed on another thread about him.

My thought is that, unless he originated it (in which case he can do so easily), the action of deleting a post could only be done by a moderator (and I think their customary approach is to lock posts, but perhaps extenuating circumstances may have been present). Given the title of the post, it would seem (certainly on the surface at least) to be a prospective client seeking intel, thus (again, on the surface at least) making it unlikely that he originated the post.
buckguy Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 there seem to be guys who appeal to someone so much that they want that one post that says "this provider really delivered" despite lots of negative feedback otherwise. Chasing this little bit of hope seems to happen on a lot of threads.
