Maybe it’s just me…but do we really need “louder” nights? One of the big pluses at Johnson’s has always been the music not being out of control loud. I like spending time with the dancers and appreciate having the music at a level that allows for conversation. New look, new guys, and a new DJ are all great but I don’t need louder music. Pre-COVID when Twist still had dancers, the music used to be painfully loud. It was always problematic. + jeezopete and + Vegas_Millennial 2

I was there the past two Friday nights, and Matt turned up the volume after 9 pm and it was so loud that I had to leave because my ears started aching. I had to apologize to my friend who wanted (actually had) to stay because his absolutely favorite bodybuilder dancer, Tony, does not come in until after 10 pm and he always does multiple private dances with him, but I am not going deaf just to see and feel dancers, no matter how hot they are. I'm now having to bring ear plugs when going out, and the younger gen are doing it too. So what does the club think blasting to where it hurts gets them? Glad Matts back though........

Eh I get that.... I like it loud, but less so as I get older. I think a bigger issue is the playlist. If you liked the music, the volume might not be as annoying. Matt's one of the few that gets it... entertain the clients not the dancers. Although I'm not a Johnson's kind of guy (not into the muscled up gym rat type), the vibe at Johnson's is so much better than any other strip club in North America. I'm not saying you should play Rock Around the Clock, but play stuff clients would enjoy from THEIR club days when they were younger and getting action without having to hit the ATM. Matt hits the sweet spot with 80s and 90s stuff. As soon as I hear Nicki Minaj or shiz like that, I'm ready to go. + Vegas_Millennial 1
