Gil Gerard, best known for playing the titular hero in the NBC sci-fi favorite Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, has died at the age of 82.

His show was not really on my radar, but he was indeed handsome and had a hot dad vibe, though that was an expression that had to wait for the 21st C.

As a young clown, Bozo used to watch the show hoping to see a shirtless Buck Rogers 🙂, Though the show itself was pretty boring. Nothing like the classic Buck Rogers series from the 30's with Buster Crabbe.
