I have an awesome provider. Besides our client/provider relationship, I consider him a friend. I think he deserves a generous holiday gift? How do you handle this? Agree? Your thoughts? Am I being too generous?

Have him sit on your lap and give you a list of gifts he wants Santa-Sideways to bring him...

Amazing! I am sure he looks after you and enjoys your time too.

I think when it's a big gift like this, it is best to reach out and speak to them about the offer. they may hav things planned, jobs lined up, other personal family or friend events, when in doubt - ask the source!

Never. With these two caveats - 1. As long as its within your budget, and 2 - its given as a gift without expectations -  if it passes these two hurdles, it's never too generous.

I tend to be a generous person……especially if I have a good relationship with the person. So, I agree that if is within my budget and given without expectations. I feel comfortable giving a generous gift. Thank you for your sharing your wisdom on this.

I have had a regular provider in one city that I visit frequently, and I've been giving him cash gifts or gift cards for a few years now, generally on the nearest visit before Christmas.  He's not just a sex toy; I consider him a friend.   As to whether or not you're being too generous, that's purely a matter of your own circumstances.  To some guys, $100 is stretching the budget; for others, that's merely pocket change.   Go with your own comfort level.

It is interesting that several of the posters mention they consider the escort a friend.  Friends exchange gifts usually.  Employed personnel receive gifts.   So if you are exchanging gifts, then by all means give a nice gift and accept what is given in return.  If there is no return, give yourself the gift of realizing that the escort in question is not your friend but an employee and for future gifting, keep that in mind.  Being generous is a wonderful trait, but be clear as to the nature of the relationship you have with the person to whom you are giving the gift.

I really appreciate everyone’s perspective on this question. Ironically, I do not exchange Christmas presents with my other friends or family. Because I am a closeted, married client, I am able to be my authentic self with him. That has been a life changing experience. He deserves a generous holiday gift, for being a caring, compassionate, patient man. I appreciate the great input from this awesome community.
