4crazyhorse Posted December 10 Posted December 10 I'm shocked that Detroit does not have strip club since the closing of the Gold Coast many years ago. + poolboy48220 and BeHappy 2
+ poolboy48220 Posted Wednesday at 01:27 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:27 PM Totally agree. I was a regular at Gold Coast. I know there was a lot of hate dropped on it due to the shady neighborhood but I almost never had issues there.
+ Vegas_Millennial Posted Wednesday at 02:20 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:20 PM (edited) EVERY city needs a gay strip club. It should be a UN fundamental human right! Edited Wednesday at 04:12 PM by Vegas_Millennial Spelling TorontoDrew and 56harrisond 2
EZEtoGRU Posted Wednesday at 05:10 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:10 PM I would agree that it would be great to have a male dancers club in Detroit. The Gold Coast lasted for many decades and there was a 10-20 year period where it was the best male strip club in the Midwest...including being better than anything in Chicago. Sadly, it started a long decline in around 2010. The last 5 years of its life were sad as the quality of the dancers dropped substantially. I blamed it on lousy ownership and poor management. It was doomed to failure with the crew that was running it.
TorontoDrew Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I spent about a year in Detroit for work about 30 years ago. There was a small strip club across the river in Windsor that I used to frequent. I fell in love with a young man who always danced to Mariah Carey's Hero. + Vegas_Millennial and EZEtoGRU 1 1

If it was the club right on the riverbank in the late 80's, it was JP's. Great club with worldclass strippers. Toronto and Montreal strippers used to cycle through there on the regular. It was wonderful. If it was later than that, it was probably The Happy Tap on Wyandotte in Windsor. Not nearly as good as JP's, but decent.
