MaybeMaybeNot Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I keep meaning to rewatch "Quiz Show, " which is a fantastic movie. Of all the movies listed in his obit, I have only seen a few. But "Quiz Show" is a favorite. thomas 1

mtaabq Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Wow. 89. Pretty damn amazing. So glad he was able to take the novel "Ordinary People" and turn it into a great movie. As an actor, he may have never been better than in "The Sting". And what physical beauty! RIP, Robert Redford. + ApexNomad, marylander1940, thomas and 1 other 4

How often can we say someone who died at 89 is gone way too soon. His greatest legacy! + ApexNomad Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago One of my favorite actors. A true legend in cinema and a pioneer for independent film. His legacy with Sundance changed the game for so many storytellers who might never have had a platform. His performances showed not just star power, but depth. And his directing revealed a sensitivity and courage few possess. I remember seeing Ordinary People in theaters and crying so hard. He stood for something bigger than fame: artistic integrity, independence, environmental awareness, truth. His legacy lives on in the generations of storytellers he inspired. Rest in peace, and God bless. marylander1940 and thomas 2
